The storage cap. The speed of the drive. All amazing. Its perfect when on sale for anyone that can dish out the extra cash and likes triple A games like call of duty etc. also could be good with videos due to storage cap and speed.

This 4TB M.2 SSD worked great in my gaming PC. I now have plenty of storage. It is very fast. It reads at 7450 mb/s. It looks good too with the RGB lighting. I run my games from it with no problem.

Great NVME drive. install was a breeze and the heat sink made a noticeable difference in my PC base temps. wonderful performance even when comparing to other NVME drives.

I got this as a gift for my brother's PS5. I was thinking of just upping his storage. The read speeds didn't register with us until it finished transferring all the PS5 games he had saved on the system itself, as he was saying it would take hours. It took less than 10 minutes. Considering getting one for my PC.

My PS5 has so much space now it’s amazing I can have multiple ps5 games saved and it has a heat sink be that it comes with one it does not void out the warranty of my console

Samsung is the Original inventor of NAND.
I Loved the 2TB 980 Pro. I Absolutely Love the 4TB 990. Now I have it in my PS5 Slim disc Edition So im not reaching any Max Benchmark speeds or anything. But getting over 6300Mbps Speeds is Plenty good enough for me and a GREAT future Proofer for me..
No the PS5 Pro is Absolutely NOT worth the Money So I would never waste money on it

I used to have a 1 TB, then a 2 TB, and now this 4 TB M.2 storage. If you have a lot of games or see yourself buying a lot of games, just get the 4 TB (or even 8 TB). It's easy to install yourself, and it's nice to have 100 games loaded and ready to play.

This drive is really fast. Works very well for viewing tons of photos or uploading videos in just seconds. The 4TB will hold all of my photos for the foreseeable future.
Great device but an interesting buying experience.

A great drive. I use the same 4TB 990 Pro without a heat sink on my desktop computer, but I ended up buying one of these for my PS5 Pro to be able to load in tons of games. Great drive, but that said, I did have an "interesting" buying experience with this. The first one, I bought came in a sealed (stickers) box, but was DOA when plugging into multiple computers. The red LED that's on the heat sink it didn't light up either on power on. On close inspection of the heat sink, I noticed stratches on the normally black painted part of the heat sink. When I replaced the defective one at the store, with another identical box, after opening it, I noticed a sticker where those scratches were that read "Warranty Void if Removed" -- that sticker was missing on my original unit. So, either it was returned and restocked, or a bad refurb. Anyhow, the one I have now works great and was easy to install. I didn't even know it had a red LED on the heatsink until I plugged it into my computer to ensure the firmware was up-to-date.
