I had used the same washer for over a decade. When it broke down I was looking for a similar basic model. I didn't think I would ever use the bells and whistles on the newer models. I was wrong. Samsung makes a great product. We initially only bought the washer but after we got it home abd used it we went out and got the matching dryer.

Not so many features that I do not use. does a better job than the front loader that I had prior

My new washing machine replaced one that was 20+ years old. There is a learning curve but after one month I rarely have to consult the manual. The only odd thing about the washer is what they call soil level. I thought that meant how dirty the clothes are. No, it is the amount of water you want depending on the amount of clothes you put into the washer. I found this out after putting in a load of laundry with very little dirty clothes and chose the smallest level of soil. Not enough water went into the machine so I had to rewash and increase the level. Finally I figured that the Soil Level is about the amount of clothing you put into the washer. Other than that small difficulty I have been extremely happy with the washer.

This washer cleans well and is generally quiet. A bit tedious to have to push power button, wait for activation then select cycle. Turning the cycle knob should power up the washer.

I decided that I would like to have a top loader when my old front loading machine was on its way out. It always leaked water and apparently not fixable. After two service calls while under warranty, I gave up. I had two front loaders in about 13 years. So.....I decided to go back to a top loader. This machine is so much quieter. I have had it less than one month, but so far so good. I am a short person 5' 1" and I knew I would not be able to reach the bottom of the washer to retrieve the clothes, so I made sure to get a model that has the controls in the back of the machine. All is working fine and I haven't fallen into the tub yet. :) It does not walk and roll like the front loaders that I have had.

After our front loading machine stopped working, we decided to go back to a top-loading washing machine. We are very pleased with the size of the washer and love the activewash built in-sink and water jet. Very quiet machine and we are very happy with the purchase.

I had a Samsung washer that was part of a recent recall. So I opted to upgrade to a little nicer model. I like that this washer has the built in sink. So far this machine is quite a bit nicer than my previous one. It's quiet and seems to do a very good job.

Having owned one of the recalled Samsung washers (by the way, I LOVED that washing machine), I went in search of another Samsung to fulfill the recall purchase guidelines. My experience with Best Buy was superb. The sales manager was very helpful with information on suitable Samsung washers to replace my old one, and the delivery was handled impeccably and on-time. I am cautiously optimistic about my new machine. We had an unusual error code reading appear for the first couple of washloads, but Samsung Customer Service provided an adequate response. My new machine is just like the old one with the addition of the top washer basket for hand washables. I haven't used this feature yet, but I think it will come in handy. This was my fourth appliance purchase from Best Buy in 3 months, and I have been very satisfied with the buying and delivery services from my local store.

Best washer I have ever had. Really didn't need the built in sink though.

We love the new washer and the large capacity. The built in sink is a great convenice.

This washer is one of the best ones I've had and washes my clothes good and is fast

Love the pretreat/acitvewash feature! The only thing I a warning people about... if you are short, you will need a step stool to get your clothes out of the machine. I am 5'4 and have a difficult time reaching the bottom of the barrel to pull out by clothes.

I love this washing machine. I've noticed a couple of negatives- the glass top gets steamy and condensation will build up on the outside edges. I guess this is expected when you reach a certain heat, but I wish there were gaskets to prevent this. Also, make sure the installers ensure your machine is level, otherwise it'll viciously wobble. Other than that, I haven't had a problem with it yet.

Felt kinda weary about buying a washer without the agitater in it but it works great. Everything is cleaner then with are old washer, sure it might take longer to wash but they are so much dryer that my dryer only has to work half as hard.

Love the large size but hard for short people to reach the bottom of the washer

We have had this washer for about a month and it has been amazing so far. Unbelievably quiet, and the size of the loads that we can put in are pretty amazing. It came with the highest recommendations, and has lived up to those expectations, so far.

This is by far the best washing machine I've ever used or owned. I love all the options and how well they perform. It's also reasonably quiet for a washing machine. Happy with my purchase and the deal the sales associate got for me on it.
