I was headed for the Maytag when the salesperson pointed this out so I went home and read the reviews. A great decision - the soaking feature enhances the value of a machine which already had everything going for it, from large capacity to water conservation. I even think it cleans better than any machine I've ever owned.

it washs and spins really good I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WASHER TO ANYBODY.IT HAS A A REAL CUTE MUSIC SOUND TO TELL YOU IT IS THREW WASHING.THE CLOTHES SMELL REAL CLEAN AND FRESH WHEN IT IS THREW WASHING.IT HAS THAT CUTE SINK IN IT WHEN YOU HAVE BAD STAINS YOU WANT TO GET RID OF THAT IS REAL HANDY

Our former and only two-year old washer died so we replaced it with a Samsung Activewash 4.8 Washer. We are very impressed with the washer. It is quieter, uses less energy, and easy to use. The built-in sink is wonderful add-in too!! Highly recommend to anyone who needs an efficient washer.

Phenomenal product. User friendly control panel, comprehensive options, quiet operation. The washer tub is huge, cutting down on the number of loads I have to do. I love the sink, great for soaking stinky/sticky/stained clothes.

The capacity of this machine beyond expectations for such a relatively diminutive washer. We have reduced our laundry time. The only caveat about this machine is it is very loud; however, not a concern due to all of the pros.

With a large family, we do a lot of washing - heavy loads, delicates, work clothes, etc., So far the washer handled our heavy use, exceptionally. It is quiet and efficient.

We had a washer that lasted 34 years so we had no idea what is available in the market. If we had known about this Samsung and how it performs we would have bought this years ago. This High Efficiency machine is incredible. Extra large tub, quiet operation and vibration free. Easy to level the machine and start washing. I would buy this again without hesitation. Last year we bought a Samsung dryer from the same Best Buy. We are extremely satisfied with our Samsung machines.

We bought this washer as an "open box" item and couldn't be happier! The washer is quiet, cleans better than I ever thought possible, and has a huge variety of cycle types.

I purchased this washer at a discount because it was a return. Im not sure why it was returned because it is a good washer with lots of space for large loads, come with a little sink shaped lid and water that can spray out witch is great for soaking stains. The design is pretty as well, a good looking washer. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because its normal wash cycle doesnt seem to get stains out as well as my old washer did. However it has a soild selection on it that does a decent job on washing but will take 80m to wash. But then again u can always soak bad stains in its little sink.

The washer is awesome and gets clothes very clean with less water! The washer spins very well so that they spend less time in the dryer. Making a day of washing less burdensome! Love my new Samsung!

The true test was if my husband would like the washing machine - we both love its ease of use and efficiency. It is also very quiet when it is running.

I love this washer! It has everything that I was looking for! I wanted a high capacity washer with a steam option the active wash was a bonus for me that I haven't really used much. This is a very deep washer at 5'8 I have to bend over to reach the bottom so I can see where this would be an issue for shorter people. I was really hoping to find a quiet washer as this is on the main level of my home. It is quieter than my last washer so I don't mind the noise but some settings can get loud if we don't shut the door. All in all I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

This wager is huge so I'm going fewer loads. Have had it just a few weeks and I'm very satisfied so far.

I love this too loader. I have not had it long, but it is big, efficient, and quiet. I'm still learning to use it but so far it washes great.

I love this machine, especially the built in sink. It is so much bigger than our last one, so we are doing less loads. But, I have a hard time getting the smaller loads, since it is so deep. I'm only 5'1" so I have to use a stool to get in there.

Love this washer. It's big and works well. I like the tray that allows you to soak clothes/treat stains before washing. Very convenient. Don't have to soak in bins or in the sink anymore.

We do not have a sink in our laundry area. This machine allows us to soak stained clothing before washing. The drum holds a lot of clothes, too.

Just converting from stack-able washer and dryer, and wow this washer has a large tub! More than twice the capacity. Quiet and efficient.

This washer works well in tight spaces. Its pretty quiet, you can hear the water splash more than the motor when it agitates. Love the Activewash basket for washing delicates. Love the amount of features. The only downside, this is our 3rd machine, the 1st machine was installed improperly, the hot water hose was crossed threaded...it ended up bursting off and soaking our wood floors...luckily we were home and jumped into action as soon as we heard it & turned off the water main......the water hookups are plastic & the threads were stripped (I wish they were still metal like older machines). Best Buy replaced it with another machine(2nd) which was fantastic, no hassle....a few weeks later, we found out the 2nd machine was part of the Samsung recall....so we opted to get a replacement machine instead of having it repaired (I paid for a brand new machine, not a new machine that had to be repaired). I was disappointed in the process of the recall\replacement process,.I even purchased the BB extended warranty at the very beginning. I had to purchase another machine(3rd) & fill out & send in the rebate forms to get my money back from the recall. IMHO...Being that I purchased the warranty at the beginning, I would like to think that BB would have just replaced the recalled machine with another machine(same model) for me & handle all the rebate forms with Samsung. So basically I have paid for 2 washing machines.....I sent the rebate forms to Samsung 2 months ago and are still waiting for the rebate check.
