Only down side was when using the USB-C port for video it goes down to 30hz. I did not find this in any documentation before purchase. Overall great monitor/tv. I did like the remote desktop feature/ ability.

It's a VA (vertical alignment), not an ISP (In Plane Switching) monitor. As a result and assuming you're sitting within two feet from the screen, the image displayed fades away left to right from wherever you're looking. You have to put your face directly and immediately in front of that part you want to see clearly with fully saturated colors and sharpness. I returned mine for a much better 32" LG ISP monitor for about $100 more. ISP is much better than VA. Just ask the Best Buy rep.

In my opinion it’s worth the extra bit of cost for the dual functionality. When not working, it’s available for play, and easily reverts back to work, Have connected to a 14” MacBook Pro via HDMI, it finds it easily, and the resolution is excellent. I would easily recommend, and have several times.

The monitor is not for everyday use, for my intended purposes. Probly need to do a follow-up review in abound 12-18 months, when I have had a chance to resource all of its various options and features. At this point, still have not found out how to isolate the remote controls between the monitor and my Samsung Smart TV. As most things I'm associated with/to; "It's a work in progress".

Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. I’m glad to see that you are happy with the experience and quality of your Samsung Smart Monitor.
I noticed that you mentioned you are still trying to isolate the remote controls between the monitor and your Samsung Smart TV. I will let you know that the basic functions (power on/off, volume, menu etc) will work with the TV remote.
Please see link below the manual for this Smart Monitor to learn about the additional functions as well.

Super crisp, colors are great, and it's easy to be in front of for hours at a time. The negative? Flimsiest monitor stand ever. I can't even type without the monitor shaking. Since I have a webcam on top (working from home) it means that every time I am on a call I am shaking on screen for everyone else. Trying to figure out a way to stop the shaking, or a way to get my webcam attached to something more solid.
