I primarily use the monitor for work but liked the idea of being able to jump right into streaming apps. I've had the monitor about 3 months and for the first few months it started up right away. Unfortunately, now I have this frustrating ritual each morning where I'm staring at a blank screen for several minutes before something pops up.

I use it with my MacBook Pro (2020) and my husband’s Samsung Galaxy Flex Alpha (2020) laptop. Everything you need to set it up is included in the box (the monitor, the stand, screws, instructions and information booklets, USB-C to USB-C cable, HDMI cable, TV remote with batteries), except for a Philips screwdriver you’ll need when attaching the stand. It probably took me only about 5 minutes for the total set up—from taking it out of the box and attaching the stand, turning it on and completing the online set up with the remote, to hooking it up to my laptop (simply by plugging in the USB-C cable). It works simply and flawlessly with both our Apple and Samsung laptops; we prefer to use the USB-C cable connection, but the HDMI cable works just as well. The picture is crisp and clear, and the enormous screen real estate at 32 inches is expansive; I like being able to open multiple windows and seeing and accessing them all at the same time. The smart features—being able to download streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Spectrum, YouTube, Apple TV+, etc. is such a plus—it’s like having an extra TV on hand (and a really nice one, at that). It also supports Samsung DeX and Apple AirPlay and has a Remote Access feature. The remote control comes in really handy, a real plus. This monitor is so much more than a simple monitor; it’s truly a nice quality monitor AND television set all in one. My husband and I love to hook up our laptops to it whenever we feel like utilizing a bigger screen than our 13-inch laptops have. Lots of versatility.

Bad Product, no getting around it

Once you connect everything and plug in the power source, the monitor would work on occasion. When it's not working, it flickers on and off constantly (Almost corrupted files on my Playstation because of it). I trust Samsung TV's but this Smart Monitor needs a deep product hardware restructuring.
