Died after 2 hours of use, DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR

A lot of great features but the fact that the picture wasn’t that great and it died after 2 hours of use like a few others had stated forced me to return it. No idea what happened, picture just went black and then it kept power cycling like it was trying to turn on. If you turn all the lights off in your room you could see a light white haze come on and then turn off again and it would continue to do this. I’d stay away from this monitor, what ever happened to quality control?

Poor quality MVA panel

Worst monitor I have had in last 20 years. I have several other Samsung monitors and TVs all better than this MVA panel.

The tap feature was a lil intermittent and the 4k didn't really feel like 4k. Then within 3 hours the HDMI inputs went out on me. HDMI 1 went out and the screen turned green when I tried to play a computer game. I tried turning it off and on and that made the HDMI not even recognize that anything was plugged in. I switched to HDMI 2 and it just flickered in and out from a black screen to the computer screen. The smart tv function worked fine though. I returned this within 3 hours of picking it up. Thoroughly disappointed by Samsung on this product. Sounds great on paper but horrible execution.

USB C input issue and poor daytime visibility

Someone else in the reviews had already pointed out this issue, but I still went ahead and bought it thinking it would have been one defective unit for them. Though the monitor is loaded with features, it lacks daytime visibility to the point where we would have to lower the blinds.

Monitor is Defective

It has Flashing Pixels that come and go. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it does not. I gave it a month to see if it would work out the bugs but it has not improved and I am returning it today for that reason. Ist samsung product I have had issues with. Absolutely do not buy this monitor. I also bought it knowing it had bad reviews but it has lived up to that I see.

Power Issue Inside The Monitor

This Smart Monitor was dead upon arrival (Mostly). After looking up some complaints about the monitor, I realized my monitor had the same issues. There appeared to be an issue with the power cord connection (inside the monitor). While moving the cord around on the back of the monitor it would come on momentarily and then back off. I could never get the monitor to stay on. It was returned.

Monitor fails to display from M1 MacBook w/ USB-C

It seems to be a common problem. The laptop gets into a loop of recognizing the display and disconnecting from it. The monitor recognizes the laptop and supplies power but indicates that the source is not on. SOMETIMES the laptop works with the monitor. (When I power cycle either the MacBook or monitor, the connection works until I unplug and replug.)

Happy Camper
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While there is no "perfect" monitor to fit everyone's needs, put me in the "happy camper" group. I like the screen and display properties, the 4K capability, the USB-C connection, and especially, the ability of my laptop to connect to it wirelessly. This is important due to no display port available as an input on the monitor which is what my docking station uses as an output. Otherwise, my twin monitor setup would not be possible defeating the reason for having this monitor in my situation. The sound is just so-so, but no monitor has great sound anyway. You need outboard speakers for any of the monitors if you want decent sound. Another plus for the anti glare screen as my office has sun part of the day and the screen does not reflect the light nearly as much as my other monitor. All in all, this is a great monitor for the price. Sure, there are better monitors with more capability and "purity" that some posters complain about, but this model does not try to hit those lofty goals. If it did, the price would be much higher. All monitors are compromises and this one fits my needs perfectly. That puts me in the happy camper group.

No image ever showed up, just a light black screen. Then it would power off. I was excited for this monitor, but it fails to show any visuals and cuts off and on in a loop. I tried hooking up a variety of equipment, video game console, Macbook Pro, PC desktop. All had the same result. Ended up returning.

Defective monitor

I requested a replacement hoping that I am lucky and get a good one that actually works as it’s supposed to and forget about this bad experience,, let’s hope !

Doesn’t always work as a monitor

I bought this to use in my tiny home and double as a TV and monitor when I work from home. It’s not a plug and go. You have to set up an account to use as a monitor. Direct wire connect didn’t work. Wireless works on occasion. It’s not truly a TV - just a smart monitor. When it connects - the clarity is great. It works better to stream your shows than it does as a monitor.

Do not purchase open box!!!

Spent a good hour wiring and hanging on my existing wall bracket. Plugged it in, it turned on, and I just found out that I cannot setup without the remote that was missing in the box. This has been extremely frustrating. My suggestions is that you do not buy anything from best but that is open box. This open box had a BestBuy rating of "Excellent", which comes with no exterior flaws, scratches or damage, AND everything included.

All in One Monitor AM702 Samsung

Built for an All in One purpose, I can switch from my Playstation, Monitor via HDMI or Launch my Cable Application to watch Television. Over all this is a 32" Monitor. I'd say treat it as such. It is not an Energy Saver product. My complaint is that the monitor often times does Flicker on and off. I suggest buying insurance for this product !
