Poor Screen Quality, Unreliable USB-C Connectivity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very disappointed with this monitor that I bought to use with my MacBook Pro while working from home. The overall picture quality is quite poor. The color is very dull and inaccurate compared to both my MacBook screen and another LG monitor that I have been using. I was able to get slightly better results by adjusting some of the picture settings but the picture is still very subpar and the colors are way off. Viewed at an angle, the sides of the screen get very dark. I bought this monitor specifically for the USB-C connectivity but it's very buggy. Any time after a restart or after disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor from the laptop the monitor simply does not recognize the computer. The USB-C source icon is checked and it will power the laptop but the screen is not detected and automatically goes to sleep after 60 seconds. The only way to get the monitor to recognize the screen is by unplugging the monitor from the wall while remaining plugged into the computer. The monitor also has "smart" features like Netflix built in. I feel like this is a very low quality screen with extra features that add to the price. In retrospect, I would have looked for a similarly priced monitor without some of the features in hopes of better screen quality.

Great all around monitor

Incredible features and does way more than you'd expect for the money. Great buy if you're looking for a screen that does more that just mirrors your laptop. Great addition to any room on the house, not just something that needs to sit on your desk in a corner somewhere.

Mostly use it for playing video games but have watched a few movies on it as well. The tv was easy to put together and is very well constructed.
