I bought a Sony Blu Ray player when they first came out and it had lots of bugs. I wanted to update my blu Ray player when I purchased my new Samsung TV and this was a great choice! Much smaller and easier to use and the price is RIGHT!

The BD-H6500 is very easy player to hook up, set up, and operate. Extras include the ability to play CDs with photos, music, or video. With a network Internet connection, you can even play content saved in a cloud service. With Smart Hub, you can use apps and stream movies and TV shows. It's a very good device for a reasonable price.

This compact little unit packs a powerful punch! Not only does perform well with the 4G format, the unit is smart as well! No need to have an additional wifi converter unit this does it all! Easy to set up and easy to use!!!

I absolutely love this Blu-ray player. Very easy to install and it has a beautiful high quality picture. It has so many options that I'm still exploring weeks later. I would love to get another unit for the other room.

I've used this several times. The upscaling is great on blurays and DVD's. The picture is very crisp and clear on a 4k tv. The bluray player is very user friendly. The apps work really well.

I mostly use this for streaming Netflix and Pandora via Wi-Fi and it has excelled in both arenas. I have not experienced a single hiccup, so far with performance. The picture and sound quality are fantastic, when paired with a system that can take advantage of it. Like every other blu-ray player I have seen, disc spin-up and read is slower than I would like but that is the only knock against this player. For the price, it is impossible to beat.

If you have purchased a 4K TV, you need the upscaling DVD player to take experience upscaling of your Blu-ray movies. Attempted to use my old LG and found out I was losing on picture quality. Samsung has one of the best priced and performing upscaling players on the market. Highly recommended!

Easy set up. Apps are easy to navigate. Great picture quality. Great price. Just wish login and password setup wasn't such a beating.

Very good player with all the features you'd expect from Samsung. Streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu work like a champ. I'm able to plug in a thumb drive and watch movies or look at pictures or listen to music files I have stored as well. Bluray player does 4k up scaling. Only downfall ive found is the home media streaming from my upstairs computer to my Samsung unit downstairs disconnects after about 3 to 5 minutes and says device not found, this is either an issue with my player personally, or something in the settings I haven't figured out yet. aside from that Samsung is always my number 1 choice for TV and Bluray players.

As I am a loyal customer to Samsung products, I found this Blu-ray player to be everything I expected it to be and more. The 4K up scaling feature works wonders not only on Blu-ray movies, but on streaming and my movies stored in a portable hard drive. The Wi-Fi feature worked seamlessly, the connection to my home network was very smooth and easy. I'm a happy customer.

I have never had a Blu Ray player. This was my first one and I looked into several. This one plays perfectly and is very simple to use. I find it to be very intuitive. I really like that it is wifi enabled and is wireless. The price is a little high but I bought mine on sale, which was a big help.

Upgraded to 4K television, and found this on sale the same day. Old movies and TV shows look great; newer movies and shows are stunning. Compact player does not take up much space, and weighs only one pound - but performs like a monster! Remote is easy to use, too. Great buy for $84.

Great Blu-ray player with 4k conversion but the controls are on top of the player instead of in front. I have my player in a cabinet and you need to place the player on the very top shelf with extra room to press the buttons. Since there is limited lighting in the cabinet it is impossible to see the correct control button to push since it is all the same black color and it all blends together. Other than that I would recommend it.

Upgraded to this 55 inch 4k from an older Samsung 40 inch lcd. Decided on this model after looking at a number of them side by side at local BB. Absolutely stunning picture! I do get some periodic picture jutter. I seems to vary depending on which HD channel on Comcast I'm watching. Netflix is great and tv's processor handles upscaling very well. Streaming HD content from my media server via wifi is without issue.

like all my Samsung products this Blu-ray player seems to be well designed and works fine. Hopefully whenever 4k UHD media is available I plan on using it to augment my 4K UHD TV set. For now it upgrades the present HD DVD disks to near 4K which provides better video than the standard HD players. Good value for the money.

So easy to use. Good picture good up convert. Best Blu Ray Samsung has on the market.
