Great upscaling player, works nicely with other Samsung products of course. Only con is the size, would be nice if it was the size of the Sony's or other Samsung players. The width makes it a odd and the controls being on top are difficult to see if you have it in a cabinet and because of the controls on top you can't put anything on it. Overall awesome player especailly when on sale.

This is my first Samsung BD player. I have a number of Sony ones. What I like about this model : (1) the picture is quite clear, (2) there is a display on the front (something many Sony decks do not have) and (3) is is relatively easy to use. The interesting rotating dial on the top is easy to get used to, but I am not sure why that design was picked. It does seem a little unusual.

This is a very nice player for the money. It loads fast, sound and looks great. This is a good player if you want something a little bit higher end than your typical budget player.

I bought this BD Player to ensure my up-convert experience for my new UHD Samsung TV was complete. It does that job very well. Nice surprise was the remote was lighted. If you liked how well DVDs looked on a BD player on a 1080p TV, you will like how BD disks look on this BD player on a UHD 4K TV. Simple, does what it is supposed to, fully meets my expectations.

Very nice unit, easy to set up and sync to new tv. Bought this UHD 4K Upscaling DVD player to accompany my new Samsung 4K HD television and they compliment each other perfectly. Wish the on/off and open/close functions were on the front of the unit and and not on the top, for easier access.

Bought to upgrade to a Compliment my Ultra HD TV and it was easy to install and have had no issues, worth the money spent to get a quality product.

I purchased the Samsung BDH-6500 Blu-Ray player as an upgrade to a older Samsung model. I teamed this unit with a Samsung 65" curved 9000 model TV and the results have been spectacular. Installation was a snap as the units quickly recognized one another and the picture is beyond belief. Additionally, this is the fastest loading Blu-Ray player I've ever owned. Older units take in excess of 90 seconds to load a disc, while the BDH-6500 loads a disc in about 30 seconds. If you are looking to upgrade your Blu-Ray player, this is a unit worth considering.

Great upscaling and picture quality. Good value and easy to use

Easy to set-up and operate. Loads Netflix quickly and streams well even though the wireless signal is barely "good". Plays DVD's etc. well. Nice feature is the Devicelink integration with the Samsung TV (nothing too exciting, but turns on and changes input on power-up, etc.) . Great choice for us. Seems pretty hard to beat the price/features.

Solid Blu-ray player. It does what it says and upcoverts to 4K well. Netflix looks higher quality than my old player. Samsung seems to have more apps available if your interested in them. I dont necessarily like the top control buttons and just feels light. It's rare I rate an item 5 as I save that for exceptional products, thus the 4.

I just made this purchase recently but so far I am astonished by how incredible this small piece of hardware is. Very light weight, amazing compatibility with my samsung television and independently, it performs as a harddrive in a powerful computer. Purchase this model definitely if it fits your needs. You will not be disappointed.

Very small footprint but it packs a punch. This DVD player is an awesome complement to my Samsung Ultra HD 3D Smart 4K Curved TV. It is a Blu-Ray 4K 3D Player with built-in Wi-Fi and does a great job at 4K upscaling. It has several included Smart Apps (NetFlix, Pandora, HuluPlus, YouTube, etc.) and I love the backlit remote control.

Blu-Ray players are very similar in this category among all the different brands. The majority have built in smart features, wired and/or wireless network connectivity. I chose this particular model for the simple fact that it up converts to near 4K quality, which is still not the same as 4K, but anyway you can improve your end result you should especially if it's not a significant difference in price.

We wanted to replace our DVD player with one that used an HDMI cable, gave a good picture and was middle priced. We read many BestBuy reviews and settled on this one. The image is great, it is simple to use and has played flawlessly. We are happy with the purchase.

I bought this blue ray player online and was not expecting everything that came with it. Such as Apps and other cool stuff. I didn't read about it when I bought it, I was just looking for a blue ray player to go with the Samsung 4k TV I bought.
