This was a replacement for an older 3D Blu-ray that was starting to fail. This player is smaller and does the job but found out that it doesn't play some of my older disc.

Meet my needs, as a player for the price. I am replacing a insigna DVD/VHS transfer recorder. Only complaint as this does not record, the transfer machines are just to expensive to replace. Wish I could get mine fixed.

The unit is real nice. Easy to hookup and get going. Has many features. When a movie first starts, it seems to reset or go blank for a second about 5 times and then everything is fine. It has done on five times now.

I wanted to upgrade my Blu-Ray player which was from 2011. I am very happy with the choice I made to buy this one. Smart Hub is very fast compared to my old Samsung Blu-Ray player. I would definitely recommend this player.

Bought as open box. Deeply discounted . Has 5 speakers. Rear speakers connected to a wireless controller. No wires back to unit but speakers have wires. Can balance the sound between speakers

This is simply a good value BR player that reproduces excellent video quality. It works as advertised. Because the controls aren't backlit, it takes a little getting used to the position of the controls, especially in an unlit stand.

This was perfect for my daughter. I was able to make her older television into a smart tv with the built in smart hub. She now uses it to watch her Netflix and Blu-ray movies in her room allowing us to enjoy our TV again!! Highly recommend this item!

Samsung blu ray player: has everything and then some of what I was wanting! Another competitor had a similar less equipped model and wanted almost double! Thank the stars that I drove across town and looked in Best Buy!!!

We purchased an entry level Samsung television that did not have TV Cast. However, this Blu-ray player does have the TV Cast feature so it expanded the capabilities of our television. I would highly suggest this Blu-ray player.

Samsung has never let me down on the TV market or any kind of device that hooks up to the TV, this player works amazing, it is sleek and nice looking on the shelf and the picture quality is out of this world on my 4K TV!!

Haven't used this one yet. Bought it as a backup for another unit. All these players seem to have some limitations. I am not aware of any for this unit at this point. The reviews were good and thus my purchase. I am sure it will perform well, at least in the short term.

I am using this blu-ray in my new theater room with an Epson projector thru a Denon receiver. The ultra HD provides crystal-clear viewing. I use the Smart Hub to access the internet for many apps for entertainment purposes.

This unit performed as advertised and had excellent video capabilities. The only problem I had was with the provided instructions, They are inadequate for all types of installations. For instance, no directions to hookup with typical Cable TV box setup.

When i read upscaling I assumed it would also play 4k movies. This player does not. It does a really good job of being a media player / smart tv (amazon, netflix, etc.) and normal blu-ray movies play very well on a 4k tv but the player will not play 4k movies.

Works perfectly. The functions work by simply touching the respectively icon on top of the player. The touch feature works almost too good. Barely have to come close and things happen. I would purchase it again.

As with all the Samsung products in our home this is a great purchase. Most of the Samsung products that we have replaced is not because they went bad but, we just wanted the latest up to date electronics. Great product.

I bought this blu-ray player because it was inexpensive enough, and by hooking it to my TV, it gives me a Smart TV. It was a much cheaper option than a "Smart TV" purchase. It works very well, just what I needed.

Having to replace my old Sony DVD to have a player that works with my new Samsung TV I picked the Samsung player and was not disappointed with it. It installed easily and produced great movie quality. No complaints

i have purchased several items from this store over the last two years. the salesman has never led me wrong.he once again steered me toward the right product for me.

It has many options to use, if your electronic savvy. My wife and I are not. Most programs were simple enough for us to comprehend and use. We use it several times a week. . Blu Ray looks great on our 70" TV.
