I'd give this 5 stars if it weren't for one small flaw... However it's not a problem anymore. When playing DVD, the remote uses a different button than when starting a Blu-ray. Other than the trial-n-error to figure out, I really like this product.

Athough the improved 4K picture quality is great, this new model does not play home recorded discs as advertised - they skip, freeze, jerk. And you won't get any joy from Samsung customer service - they are useless. The previous BD-H5900 I had played them just fine, so if you are a home recording freak like me and like to watch things on a screen, this model ain't for you. The usb is a pain to fast forward in, though it does play things OK. The Samsung graphic interface is still awful. I took mine back and switched to Panasonic 4K and its working for me. 'Nuff said.

This was a replacement for an older Samsung DVD player so setup was a breeze. Not a big fan of the control buttons being on top of the player and not being backlit, but that's the only complaint for this player

Wow! Wished I bought this earlier! This works great! Connects to wifi quickly and to all my apps ei Netflix & pandora. Love it! Best Buy Price matched one I saw at another store. Thank you Best Buy!!!

Almost quiet enogh i put a bullet in my other one best buy never lets me down...the only way to b better is if you guys gave tvs away for free but hey we alll gotta have a dream 80" hint, hint thanks guys

I have not used this unit for anything other than blu ray discs, so I can't comment on it's 3D capabilities or streaming. I already have a smart TV so have not had the need yet for streaming, but as a daily disc player it does the job.

I like this unit because it serves me well. One of the important features is it has a display to show the playing status. Not too many DVD players got the display now, but I do like it very much.

I looked online and debated over several machines,different brands and different features. AFTER I made up my mind I went to best buy and asked a few questions. They were able to help so I purchased.

If you want to watch 3D, you need this player, plus the 3D DVD, plus the 3D TV, i.e. If you have all three you shall see some wondrous stuff. Otherwise, you shall be weeweeing into the wind!;-)

I had an older Blu-ray player that was giving me trouble, so I decided to upgrade. Samsung software helps to navigate between the tv and Blu-ray so that is a plus. I am happy with the product.

The picture is great, but the controls on the unit are not "dark" friendly. I have to use a flashlite to see the controls.....not good!!

I had a nice Samsung blu-ray player but it couldn't play 3d movies. I purchased this one and its a nice player, the movies in 3d are upscaled so they look even better. Best player I ever owned.

So far, it is great. No problems. It has a lighted display which is critical and I don't know why they make DVD players without a display you can see on the front indicating power and loading and so forth. Sleek design.

This player has made it so much easier to get to Netflix, etc., and then get back to regular TV. We haven't tried the web browser yet but I'm sure that will work fine and come in handy.

Ultimately this was more than I wanted to spend but the features are worth it. As simple as it is, this model has buttons for play, pause, etc... which is a nice feature so you are not so dependent on the remote.

I purchased this item for my teenagers and they loved it. It's so many functions, it's just if you don't have a Samsung smartphone you can not utilize the mirror in mirror function.

We had to replace our old Samsung blu ray player because it was going out. I wasn't pleased with the guy who sold it to me at the store, but we are pleased with our purchase!

It is a great player when you figure out all the bells and whistles. The one drawback I found were the buttons on the player itself. They are located on top of the player and are not illuminated so can be hard to see.

Time to get out my old labeling machine..... I can't see or make out buttons on blacktop of player when wanting to insert disc. I have remote in one hand and disc in the other. I will remedy this with labels.
