I contacted Bestbuy and they sent installers back to the house and diagnosed the defect. They scheduled a date for replacement with brand new one and we have zero issues

Unlike the ice dispenser from coming out the door, this stays deep within the freezer below and dispenses into a bin. Less chance for water condensing when opening the bin and damaging the ice unit. The middle drawer is great for easy access to cold cuts, cheese, canned drinks or whatever you want to keep cool.
