Do not purchase Samsung

Should have listened to the bad reviews about purchasing from Samsung. I purchased this fridge from a competitor and the fridge wasn’t properly packaged. One shelf fell during transport because it wasn’t secured and shattered another. Samsung said they would take responsibility after several hours on calls with customer service and still not resolved. Now I have a fridge with broken shelf and shards of glass.

Ice maker ices over, have to use hairdryer to melt-replaced once, new one faulty. Samsung fridges are the #1 reported appliance to consumer affairs in the country. Does not keep food cold! Samsung has some fabulous products, thus is NOT one of them!

This fridge only lasted us 6 months before breaking. Samsung sent service people out twice, taking 3 weeks before saying it was unfixable. Because the exact model we purchased with black panels wasn't available they refused to give us any other color and only to refund us. Because we purchased it on sale, all other options were hundreds of dollars more for the same unit just in a different color. Poor service with no flexibility, and no unit should die within 6 months. Would never get one of these again. But sure, its good looking I guess.
