We ordered a Samsung Bespoke fridge panel on May 17. It’s now June 22, and after FOUR rescheduled appointments, the order was suddenly canceled—no warning, no email, no explanation.
I called customer service and got Mark, based in the Philippines, who kept me on the phone for over an hour, placing me on hold again and again. Every time I asked for a supervisor, he stalled. He refused to give his employee ID, admitted he couldn’t check inventory, and then canceled my order as his “solution.” No help, no accountability—just canceled it and told me to “call back” if I didn’t get it.
When we finally reached a supervisor named Dale, we were hopeful for an actual resolution. Instead, we were told the only option was to repurchase the panels just to reschedule delivery—even though they can’t see inventory to confirm if it’s even available. When we asked how that made sense, there was no real answer—just a cold, scripted response.
When we said we’d be reporting Mark for how he handled the situation, his reply?
“We’re offshore.”
In other words: good luck doing anything about it.
I’ve been a loyal Best Buy customer for years. I even have a Best Buy credit card. But after this? I’m done.
You took my money, delivered nothing, and expected me to buy it again just to “try” rebooking. Absolutely disgraceful.
Shame on you, Best Buy. You let customers order items online without knowing when (or if) they’ll arrive. Your customer service in the Philippines gives false promises, treats paying customers like they don’t matter. Your offshore support is actively destroying your brand.
