Very nice little printer for a small price. What sold me on this printer was the attractive price and this printer supports Win 98. There are people out their with computers still running Windows 98. Easy installation and well designed product. Originally purchased for my father but I am buying one for myself.

I've had this printer for about a year and I've loved it. It handles job after job with ease and speed, producing quality prints each time. It's great for printing text-heavy documents thus making it ideal for students/use in an office. The only con, and it is a minor one, is that the paper occasionally misfeeds and can be difficult to realign. Overall, easily the best printer I've ever owned.

I had another Samsung printer before this one that survived college and a cross-country move, so when I needed to replace it finally 4 years later, I decided to stick with Samsung. I cannot believe that this is the same company -- my first Samsung printer felt solid, this one feels very light and flimsy. And maybe this one just turned out to be a lemon, but recently, after having had it for just 5 months and very light use, it overheated, made a loud whining sound and broke down. I have not been able to get it restarted again. Don't waste your money! Poor workmanship!

This printer is probably adequate if you have extremely low printing volumes. I bought this printer about two years ago for $99. It worked well for a year, but since then the printer hasn't loaded paper properly. It requires loading and reloading the paper over, and over, and over again. This gets very tiring, especially when you are printing long documents. I recommend you spend a bit more and get a printer that can load paper reliably. Seriously, while the print quality is good, if it won't load paper reliably, it doesn't matter.
