I did not want to spend a fortune on a new phone and in that regard, this purchase was a success. I can text and browse internet without any trouble. There are issues with call quality - the mic. I can hear callers just fine but the have trouble hearing me. I spent a little time online searching for and trying different solutions. For me, the biggest change was learning a new way to hold my phone so that my voice is better captured by the mic. That, and turning off the background noise suppression option have made the phone "ok" to use for calls. If you use your phone like a real phone - for calls - I'd pass on this one. After reading reviews of newer phones that cost way more and often come with their own issues, I'm still not really sorry I opted for pre-owned. At least I'm not mad I spent way more and still ended up with a problem phone! p.s. - my husband also purchased a pre-owned S5 last year and it does not have this mic issue.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 I bought was doing great until a couple weeks ago when the screen would start flickering. With hopes that it would go away it now has gotten worse. It takes multiple tries for the screen to even turn on, and if someone calls me, after we're done talking I won't be able to hang up because the screen has gone black. I've tried research and while people have an idea on the cause of the flickering-nobody seems to know the magic fix. The only other problem has somehow fixed itself, but at first the backlight screen timer wouldn't adjust which was annoying. It was stuck on the 15 second setting even if I put it on the 10 minute setting. If the flickering would go away, I would have rated this phone 5 stars, which may seem drastic but it really puts a hold on the enjoyment of the S5. The camera has great quality and the fingerprint scanner is a nice addition even though it is quite specfic on the angle it wants you to swipe your finger at which may cause you to swipe a couple of times to unlock. But that is a little quirk that you get used to.

The galaxy s5 was my least favorite galaxy phone. Even like my s4 way better. When I had this phone it would always freeze up I had to constantly take out the battery.

It's a descent phone for that price. Samsung 5 is known to work a long time.

Simple to use elegant design, fast, tons of apps turns this phone into a computer, you can do everithing, amazing.

It is a very good phone, particularly when you look at all of its parts separately. It's a big step up from the Galaxy S4, offering a number of key improvements over its predecessor. There's a better camera, a greatly improved AMOLED screen and a fingerprint scanner.

I've owned one of these before and it was a very nice phone. The one I got from best buy, however, seems very laggy. But otherwise works well for the purpose I got it for.

Happy with purchase, prompt shipping and phone seems brand new although sold as refurbished.

Received the phone and it came with charger and working accessories including earphones. I have owned the phone for about a week and so far it randomly shuts off when I'm watching YouTube or when it's charging. I would say it has shut off randomly over 10 times in the weeks duration. It is pre owned. It will do until I upgrade

Great bag, I use it for work all the time and it comes in handy for the different things I’m doing and the different ways I can carry it

I ordered this phone for about 300 and it has lasted me about 6 months. Ever since the second week or so it has been really slow and laggy. Now it has gotten to the point that I can't even answer phone calls most of the time.

Cell Phone works great, but SIM card was not included

Daughter needed a new phone but I really didn't want to spend a fortune on a new one that she might tear up. This phone didn't cost much and works great. Couldn't beat this deal.
