I'm no expert but I can tell for sure that the text display is terrible. I don't use it for gaming but day-to-day school work. The text is jagged no matter how I adjust it. ClearText checked. Resolution checked. The only thing I didn't do is to change the source to VGA or DVI because my 7-year-old Dell monitor works just fine with HDMI. The monitor is not for me. Check out the pictures and you will see.

Great picture quality. Extremely light and fragile. While moving it form one location to another. The screen shattered, apparently I was holding it too tight from one corner and screen shattered from that corner:( Nor Best Buy or Samsung will fix or replace it. Very disappointed with quality of the product :(I will have to look into an HP or Dell instead.

Spending 8-10 hours a day working, I have two of these monitors and they work great. I use a laptop with usb docking station, so it's nice to have the speakers on the monitors for notifications. The laptop stays closed. The screen has no glare and it is so easy on the eyes to have the curve. The size is nice as well, as I have at least 5 different applications up and running, and I can access them all without having to minimize or cover one app completely with another. Even without eyesaver mode, the tone is easier on the eyes as well. A steal at $200 each for black Friday. Only con is there is no height adjustment, only tilt. Even though they sit at the correct height for me, everyone is different and I believe ALL monitors should have tilt AND height adjustment.

This is a really good monitor overall. The curved screen is really nice and it has very clear picture with vivid colors. Also the built-in speakers actually sound pretty good. The build quality seems very good, though the stand is not super sturdy so it shakes a little if the desk is bumped or something, that wasn't really an issue for me though.

I really like this display. I switched from a 27" All-in-One PC, and the monitor was bright/colorful, and I was not sure this one could meet the same quality. But the bezel is nice and thin, the curve presents a natural view of my pictures and other work, and the image is bright, colors rendered nicely, etc. Heartily recommend!

I was looking for a curved monitor for photo editing and gaming, but didn't want to spend $500+ for a premium gaming monitor. When this came out I really liked the specs and look. Ended up buying it and couldn't be more happy with it. Colors look very nice in it. I use it to play battlefield and assetto corsa mainly and it's awesome, and freesync is a big plus. The curved screen really immerses you in the game. The monitor has a game mode that makes games look way better and the reaction times become faster. @60hz it may not be comparable to higher RR monitors but to be honest, 60hz is very good unless you're an extremely competitive gamer who can't live without 144hz. I also have my ps4 hooked up to this monitor via an HDMI cable, and displayport for the PC so I don't have to plug and unplug devices every time, I just switch inputs to switch between them. It makes the ps4 games look amazing, way better than my 60" 4k TV. Great monitor, you won't be disappointed.

We bought a couple of these in my office, so I knew they were solid Samsung monitors. Along with great design and sleek look, they are performance oriented, with great colors and more than adequate built-in speakers. The display is crisp and while not quite top gaming standards, it is perfect for the home office. The curved design does ease eye strain as well.

At 350 I was hesitant but I bought it anyway... the curve is just cool it doesn’t add better quality. I have a 27” 5k Retina iMac and the thunderbolt screen was just over priced. Monitor looks great next to the IMac it does 1080.. gaming looks great on the monitor, videos and the sound is actually GOOD from the speakers. ONLY downfall it has is 1 HDMI connection .. what a shame. But that’s preference not quality. The monitor has been so good that it went on sale and I bought 3 more ... now I have 2 at my office. And 1 on each side of my iMac for a badass setup at the house!

I didnt purchase these for gaming or anything special, just for my office and love the curve and features. Mostly, I love the Eye Saver Mode to reduce the blue light; great for the mornings while working from home. Love that is has a VGA port if needed and built-in speakers. Dont know if these can be mounted on a stand or if the stand can be replaced withing something that is adjustable. That is my only issue so far.

I thought I needed a new monitor and decided on the curve screen. The color is beautiful. It was easy to install. The built in speakers were important for me. I can split my screen and have two softwares open for working on two tasks at the same time.

Crisp clear picture quality and the curve adds to the eye comfort. Don't expect nothing less than this sleek design from Samsung :) Little pricey but hey..its ok to spoil and be spoiled sometimes!

Best monitor I've ever bought. The colors are great. The clarity is perfect even at factory settings. Best of all is that, as advertised, it is very immersive. Seeing is believing. The curved screen, as opposed to flat, makes an enormous difference. Especially great for gaming.

never owned a curved monitor before and after using this one I am happy I purchased it. Best Buy staff was helpful in explaining the benefits of the monitor as there was not one that size on display. Last couple of monitors I owned were HP. This one puts them to shame

This is a great monitor with awesome color and picture. I use this monitor for high end gaming nearly everyday and everything looks awesome with this monitor. It does have freesync technology for AMD GPU's but even though I am using an NVIDIA everything works great.

I've had this monitor for nearly 3 months and it's treated me excellently! I use it mostly for console gaming and as a secondary monitor on my laptop when I'm at home. The image quality is superb, and the curve adds a much-appreciated yet subtle depth to movies, regardless of how shallow some plot-lines can be. While the built-in stereo speakers are good, they're nothing to write home about. I'd recommend getting a 5.1 setup to go with product if you enjoy a more enthralling audio experience. My only real compliant is that this only has one HDMI port, so a multi-input switcher is a must if you want multiple devices plugged in simultaneously (i.e. multiple consoles, laptop, etc). Luckily, these come fairly cheap and are available at just about any electronic retailer.

I really like my monitor purchase. I wanted to upgrade my monitor size from 22 inch to 27 inch. I glad it did. The picture is great. The size is just right and I like the curved screen. One start up TIP. Move / drag one or two desktop icons to the far right side of the screen, then run the "auto adjustment". The monitor must need a reference on the right side of the screen for the "auto adjustment" to work correctly.

This is one of several screens I have on my desk in my 'man cave'. It is currently only being used as a PS4 monitor. It has worked excellent for this. Everything from slower paced RPG games to fast paced FPS action, Ive not had a single complaint with its performance. Picture is great, colors are very good. The only faults you may find were if you were to do in depth testing on its color accuracy and the like, but 99% of users arent this picky. Most of the reviews around the web were favorable for the monitor, mostly nixing it a little because at its retail price its a tad over priced for its feature set.

I like this monitor. The curved screen makes focusing on the screen easier to the sides. Great size, good display. Personally, I'd rather not have the Non-Glare screen ( I thing the noon-glare kinda dull the overall crispness of the screen). It's a pricey monitor but I like it.

Love the deep blacks and vibrant colors, the speakers are a welcome add on. I wish color management was better but with a decent video card that can easily be improved. A plus if you have AMD graphics card, has frame rate synch capabilities. Bought it open box for $178.

Great graphics. Very nice with large screen. Easy to set up. First monitor I bought was broken and had to unhook everything and take it back to the store.
