I fell in love with the color and style of the chef collection but have been very very disappointed with the quality and feel of the appliance. The racks are very flimsy the door feels cheap and the cleaning is sub par. Hoping for some support to return the entire collection

It is so quiet, you will not know it running. Waterwall technology on the dishwasher helps get the hard food off.. My mom is happy may get one for myself

I do not need to "pre-wash" any dishes though it never hurts to soak crusted on food as you don't want that stuff clogging up channels inside. still, the self cleaning mode plus some white vinegar goes a long way towards keeping this model running like new for years to come. I have had guests and tenants push this dishwasher to the limit only to find dishes come out flawless all the same... and don't get me started on the convenience of having this appliance connected to my Samsung Smarthings Hub!

It has to do with the fact that Samsung went cheap with parts. Don't buy Samsung appliances. Our dryer went out in the same amount of time.

We run it about every other day, and we fully rinse the dishes before putting them in the washer. The filter has been cleaned, clean cycle has been run - every step that Samsung says to follow to remove odor has been followed. I've never had this problem with any dishwasher, but I now see on the Samsung support site, that many other customers have this issue with Samsung dishwashers. SO disappointing to spend this much on a dishwasher and have this problem.
