Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this directly from Samsung several months ago before I knew Best Buy had this. My room mate has had problems in the past messing up phone ports while using the phone while charging. So I purchased this. It works very well. We've had no problems at all with it. It works fine with the cases on the phones. Now, we don't have otterboxes but room mate's case is pretty heavy and it didn't have any issues. Was able to charge everyone's phones including the new Samsung Z3 Flip on there as well as iPhone. Just make sure the phone's charging port is placed next to the charging area on the charger. When it's on, the red light will come on and when fully charged it turns green and shuts off. If there is an issue, the light will blink red. There is a piece underneath where you can remove it and flip it around and make it into a stand so you can watch whatever on the phone while charging. The cord is USB to C and connects to the little brick that comes with it. It's not a super fast charger but much faster than charging it with your laptop/pc or a regular charger. Phone techys have recently announced that fast charging isn't real good for your battery and will wear it out sooner and it's best to use a charger that is a bit slower anyway. There's no control on it. Just plug it in and set your phone on it. It's just a sturdy little charger and should work on about any phone, ear buds, etc that can do wireless. It won't work on a Samsung watch though, don't know if it will on iPhone. The only downside to me is that the cord isn't very long and it can be a real pain finding a good place to set it. Fortunately, it is removable so it can be replaced with a longer one.
