If you own a Samsung phone or tablet, you know pretty much how this one works. It has quite a wide array of things which can be set, and things which can be shut off. Some reviews say it is slow, but I'm not much for playing games, or watching TV and movies on such a screen. The graphics are good, as is the resolution. Overall a good piece of equipment, but, also as others have said, about Samsung in general - the battery life could be improved.

I use my phone to talk and to search the internet. Can't tell the difference between this phone or the $1000 phone for those needs. If it breaks, I can replace it for a little more than the price of a screen replacement on a more expensive phone. Keeps me from getting into lengthy contracts. This is my second one. The first one I lost but the price tag is such that it didn't concern me that much.

I was surprised afterwards to discover that the phone did not include a power adapter—only a cable. Had this been clearly disclosed in the description, I would not have made the purchase. Adapters ALWAYS came with their phones. If they suddenly made this change then they need to state CLEARLY (not hidden) that Adapters are sold separately and phone needs adapter or a charging source to work. Charging the phone via a cable connected to an extension cord takes 4-5 hours. Some senior consumers don't have any charger, ext, or adapter and must pay the added expense. Multiple calls to Samsung customer service have been unsuccessful. I was promised supervisor callbacks that never occurred and was ultimately disconnected after requesting further assistance. Today I was disconnected again. I am very disappointed in Samsung's customer service. This situation has become unnecessarily frustrating for something as basic and inexpensive as a power adapter. Consumers need to add to the price of an adapter to the cost since the phone is incomplete. I do not recommend.

Handles apps well. My previous Samsung came with the Contact App with lots of ads! I checked for the ads contact app before I made any entries. Enjoy the size of the phone as well. Samsung make great phones!

Everything was easy to transfer to the new phone. I wish I had gotten it sooner. Everything is great about this phone.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to be a good phone for my use, like the %g feature sounds clear, feels & looks good, however, this model comes with way too much "Bloatware" ... very confusing menus, Samsung (and other phone makers should consider selling their phones with justthe necessary programs / apps for basic us, & let the buyers get the apps from Google play store or open source. The "Samsung switch" app was very good for changing to the new phone. way too many setting not explained also,some are confusing.
