I was extremely impressed by the stores attention to my needs. My phone was outdated and i bought a new one, explanation and use was explained to me, ALL the emplyees were very helpful. From the time i entered until i left all was GREAT. I applaud the staff at ALTOONA BEST BUY, yes for sure I'll be back, and tell others. A BIG THANK YOU ALL.

Old phone had died. Picked up a this Samsung A16. Works very well. Staff at Best Buy were very helpful.

Its a slow phone… but its also sub $200! The screen is excellent for the value, and works perfect whether you are on a budget, or for another use (backup phone, kids phone, media controller, etc.)

Programming and adding bookmarks for my husband were easy to do.

Great buy for a kids first time phone, she is able to do the basics and more for her first phone was a great buy.

I mostly only use talk and text. This phone has so many icons that I will never use and when I seek information on the phone, I get terminology that I do not recognize and answers that do not address the question asked (for example, there's no icon for "listen to voice messages", and it took a lot of searching to learn that I only needed to press #1 to do that). I appreciate that cell phones are getting increasingly complex, but how about including a "basic mode" so that those of us who mostly only want to talk and text can do that without frustration...

I am a Samsung as Android user for over ten years and the A16 has all the basics covered -- especially if you don't do a lot of texting, emailing, or web searches. I don't game on a phone, so I can't comment on it. It is as good as my old Galaxy S21. My only negative is the slick "glastic" housing. I use a tight, rubber cover to provide a sturdy feel in the hand.

Better than my old phone that was getting slow-had trouble keeping a charge. I think i’ll like it fine

I bought the cell phone for my dad, and the screen and model are very easy to use. He is happy with his new cell phone.

This is simply put, the worst phone I have ever purchased. And that’s including my basic Nokia from 2002. I had an IPhone 15 pro max that I gifted to my brother and I wanted to try an android device while I wait for the new IPhone in September. I expected a certain drop in quality and performance considering how much this phone costs but nothing prepared me for the disappointment I have since experienced. This phone is severely underpowered with its 4gig ram being incapable of handling even the most mundane tasks. It is sluggish, hangs often, and difficult to type on due to the lag. It is incapable of handling android auto and consistently fails when connected to the vehicle’s display unit. It cannot even handle switching between apps and will often reset the app soon as you get back to it hence switching between apps is impossible. I was tempted to return it but the mandatory restocking fee that is tied to it makes it an expensive affair. I might as well suffer for the one more month and wait for Steve Jobs descendants to save me from my misery. Do not buy this phone unless it is simply for picking up calls.
