Just got this phone activated, but love it so far. Nice size and the cameras are awesome. Almost as nice as my Samsung S9+ for a fraction of the cost. Battery life seems good and charges fast. Good mid range phone...has everything I need. Bought one for our son for Christmas...he will love it!

I am very happy with this phone. It does everything I need it to do at an affordable price. I had the previous model and loved it and was happy to get the upgrade to it and it is even better than my old one. I definitely notice an improvement in battery life and the camera is great.

At $349 on sale there isn't a better phone on the market. I purchased the new Galaxy S22 Plus from BB last month for $999 and this phone performs 90% as well as that thousand dollar device and side by side the screens are nearly identical. I've only noticed that the A53 is a bit slower but it's barely perceptable in most cases. This is a great device for the price.

Bought this as it was a step up from the A21 I had. I did research on the product and felt this was a good buy on a budget. The pictures come out nice, however, it's been over 6 months, and starting to blur some parts of the picture. As I added more apps I feel it getting hotter when using, and slowing a bit, but not to the point I regret buying it. Works w/ Cell one even though they say it does not.

I simply refuse to pay $1000+ for a phone that is mostly a camera with some phone capabilities so, I started looking at the Samsung A series, a midrange phone a step below the S series. After reading multiple reviews on multiple sites I settled on the A53-5G and I'm happy I did. It does everything I need for 1/3 the price of the S22+. As is typical of Samsung, set up was easy, much the same as previous models, the calls are clear and undistorted, no dropped calls or poor reception (AT&T). It is fast and the screen is very responsive. It's larger than my last phone and took a bit of getting used to but once I added a protective case, it felt more secure and less at risk for dropping. The battery is incredible, I don't use it to watch movies or videos, it is a phone after all, and the battery lasts for days. My old "c" charging block would not fit the new "c" connector so be sure to add that to your purchase. Yes, I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend.
