Her previous phone was the A50. The A53 is faster, sleeker, has all the new updates, and the camera is an upgrade.

Nice phone for a mid tier model

The only downside is, there is no where I was charging, and there is only 25watt fast charging wired. Just ordered a Samsung S 23 ultra, can’t wait to try a Samsung flagship model.

Unlocked is the way to go.

My advice is to buy it outright unlocked, that way you don't get locked into a multi year plan. Just sell the phone after a year and you make about half that value back.

So, it's less than two years old, and I have had many instability issues such as the blue tooth feature cutting out speech recognition after being placed on hold, and loosing data unexpectedly. Also, the software is not very secure.
