I really want to give this a 4.5 but wasn't given a choice. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and round up. I had compared this to a Galaxy S5 Mini because of the size. I really don't like the up-sizing of today's phones and feel as if I was holding a maxi pad to my head. I'm glad I went with the Alpha. It feels very premium and fits in my hand perfect. This is an AT&T branded phone and so far no root. But with all the features, you don't need to root (if you are into security and deleting as much bloatware as possible). Why the 4.5? One thing that T-Mobile customers should be aware of is, that you might be able to get 4G LTE but one feature I do miss and that the phone won't support is T-Mobile Hotspot.

I needed a new phone since my screen cracked over a year ago. I wasn't looking for an expensive phone and wanted a Samsung product. This is great for me. Didn't need all the bells and whistles on my phone. It has a great camera and everything I need. One thing I missed is no place for a Micro SD card.

Phone is fast and great for any new users. User friendly.

The samsung alpha has an awesome camera and processor speed. The price I got it for was even better.

The phone works well and I like it. I purchased a new unlocked phone but when I removed the protective seal from the screen, it had a screen protector on the screen, not sure if that is standard for that phone or was it a returned item. Otherwise, the phone works and looks brand new.

I would recommend this phone. It's small and very light and easy to handle.
