Love this laptop. Very fast, great battery, fingerprint reader works great. Never had Samsung laptop before so I was skeptical, but took a chance and bought as open box, wouldn't definity buy again.

Took a little while to get my information transferred over as Best Buy no longer does it for free. But adjusted quickly to the new laptop and really do enjoy it. Love that there is a backlight for the keyboard which lights up when the room is dark. The screen is a nice size and best of all it is light weight to move around. If there was one little disappointment the battery does not hold the charge as long as I would like. But I did transfer and organize a lot of photos so that might account for that. "tested" other laptops at the store and this one had a nicer touch and seemed faster. Really happy with it and love that using my finger print is a security option.

I had this laptop for only two days before I returned it. Upon using it, the laptop would be very hot as soon as I started up an application. It also does not feel very durable. I assume this is because of how thin Samsung decided to make the device for look purposes. Along with this, the sound quality is not the best and I would lift it up to ensure I actually had the volume on. The sound comes from the side of the laptop so unless you're using it on a flat surface that has nothing blocking or near the speaker you won't have the greatest experience. Ultimately I ended up returning it mostly due to the heating issue as well as the fact that it does not have a compatible stylus unless you purchase one Amazon; which was not the best as the end dragged across the screen since it was a rubber ended tip and those seemed to be the only kind that worked on this device. All in all, not my favorite laptop. I ended up switching to the HP Pavilion 14" and love this one, it has the same features I was looking for in a 2 in 1 just like this one and ended up being $100 bucks cheaper.

One of the lightest, fastest and best looking laptops. Wish it used a USB C charger instead of Samsung type, Touch screen, responsive and easy to carry around. The silver paint seems to rub off easily on the sides,

I love my Samsung Galaxy Flex Alpha! For a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet it’s super convenient. Works with windows pens. The touch screen is helpful when I’m multi-tasking and don’t feel like moving the mouse around to click through emails or for school taking quizzes etc. I use this as a personal laptop so I don’t have to do everything I need to do on my work laptop. The one thing I hate though is the camera. It’s super fuzzy quality so matter what lighting and setting I am in. I never use it for that reason, instead I dock it and use a usb cam if I need to. I still prefer my iPad for pen usage but it’s nice to have the ability to use it to take notes or draw. I also like that it can handle most program. I use Tableau software on it and can play some games like Sims and stuff the kids like. Overall solid laptop for personal and school use.

This is working very well so far. It is light slim and very fast. Main drawback is that keys are black against a grey background - can be hard to see n dim light. Also the screen is a bit light it bounces a it when using touch screen in laptop mode.

I bought this laptop for 599$. In that price is a real no brainer. It feels well made and sturdy. You get the latest connectivity specs (Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.0). Really bright and colorful display. The keys feel really well and responsive (even though the lack of contrast can make it a little difficult to see in bright light). It also has a light sensor to turn on and of the backlit keyboard. Trackpad is smooth, but I had to twitch the settings a little bit to get the best of it. It is one-hand open. Speakers are ok, I wish it were on the top. I think the fingerprint is not in the best position, but it has been very fast.

Overall it has been an excellent laptop for my children for school and graphics are amazing. The one downside and has been quite a nightmare is that the camera stops working (or being recognized by software). A must during this virtual learning. Have done several troubleshooting sessions, resetting the laptop, contacting Samsung and others. Best Buy was kind enough to honor new purchase period to send a replacement and had same issue after a few days. Not sure if it is Windows 10 compatibility, but is has been quite a nuisance.

I was able to set up and use my computer within minutes of booting it up. I'm a grad student and use it for my classes and my assignments. The battery is amazing ( over 10 hrs) and the speed on the fingerprint scanner is quite fast. The only thing I can really say is the audio is not the greatest, it's fairly decent.

Great lightweight computer for school. Works with a surface pen if you have one, since this doesn't come with a pen. Battery life is accurate with description. Really worth it if you can get it on a sale like black Friday.

I really loved this computer and would give a 5 star review but I purchased and Open Box Excellent condition computer for $541 and when I got it, the keyboard did not work. Only the 5,6 and = buttons worked. Best Buy tried to fix it over the internet, but could not get it to work. I returned it and got my money back. Now I kind of wish that I had sent it in for a warranty repair because it was a bargain and a half it had worked. I really liked the light weight form factor, Beautiful screen, and 2 in 1 feature but with no keyboard it just didn't work for me for some tasks I do at home.

The hardware on this laptop is beautiful and feels more expensive than the $650 I paid for it during the Black Friday sales in November. In my opinion, the highlights are the aluminum finish, which feels really nice to the touch and makes it feel more premium, and the screen which makes everything look absolutely beautiful. That being said, there is a major hardware issue with my particular machine and some minor nitpicks software wise. The major issue is that my particular machine has some backlight bleeding on the top right and top left edges of the screen. It's not too severe and I only really notice it during bootup, but it is something to consider. The minor nitpicks I have are mostly with Windows 10, which you can argue are not Samsung's problem, but it's still worth taking note of. Microsoft seems to have a problem with making simple things more complicated than they need to be and more than once I had to Google how to find some setting or adjustment that I needed to make. For example, at some point the screen started automatically going dimmer or brighter every time I switched from viewing something mostly black to something mostly light and vice versa, and I couldn't find anything in the display settings to fix it. Turns out I had to open the Intel graphics "command center" and make the adjustments from there, but the fact that I had to Google something as simple as adjusting the display is proof of how cumbersome using Windows can be sometimes. Also, be advised that the initial updates roll out over the course of days and not just the first few hours after booting for the first time. As far as everything else goes, this is the first 2-in-1 laptop I've ever owned and I have only used it in tablet mode once to read some digital comics. The hinges seem sturdy enough and of course the screen makes digital comics look incredible, but it feels awkward to hold the laptop from the keyboard when in tablet mode, so I wish there was some kind of sleeve or case you could use to make tablet mode a less odd experience. The speakers sound better than I expected considering they are placed on the bottom side. They don't sound muffled at all and they get plenty loud, I don't think I've had the volume over 80% at any point since I own this laptop. The webcam works ok, it's a bit grainy but it does the job and you have to keep in mind the limited space the thin screen gives for placing a better camera. This is my first time owning a laptop with a fingerprint reader and I have to say that it's a nice feature to have, but you have to be very deliberate and precise when placing your finger on it or it will not read it first time. All in all, I think it's a great deal at $650 but I wouldn't pay full list price for it.

This laptop is super lightweight, which is great for transportability if that’s what you need. It also has enough RAM and storage to be able to run lots of programs. The battery lasts for about 9 hours if you use it continually.

Color me impressed. Great form factor - light weight, very clear screen, nice keyboard, great finger print reader. Very responsive (from sleep state, to logged onto a window user's profile). Not sure we get the 18hrs of battery life that is advertised, but the laptop does last all day. Haven't used it for anything very intensive, so can't speak for "power-uses", but great for web applications, basic Excel and Word Processing. Wasn't aware when we purchased that 1) the RAM is fixed (that is, can't be upgraded). 2) When charging w/ the lid closed, there is no LED to indicate charging status - seems like an easy fix. Also wish the charge port with USB-C vs a barrel plug.

I use my computer primarily for media consumption. Therefore, I need a great screen, fast wifi connection, and a decent amount of storage. This computer gives me all that. The screen is using Samsung's QLED technology so blows away anything in this price class. As soon as I saw it, I loved it. The connection is upgraded to Wifi 6 so you have the fastest wifi currently available. I also get 256gb of storage so I won't ever have to worry about running out of space. Sure, the computer only has an i5 processor but for my needs, it wasn't worth upgrading.

Excellent Laptop!! I bought it when it was on sale a month ago. Love it!! Its fast, lightweight, attractive, dependable (haven't had any issues), has decent graphics especially for a laptop unit. You can use it as a tablet, despite the fact I don't use it as a tablet hardly at all. I bought a protective carry case to protect it since it is lightweight and seems like it could be fragile. No means is this to be used as a Toughbook! LOL Having said that I have yet to get my first scratch on it. Just don't have oily hands or fingers when transporting or you might end up with an expensive paperweight! Overall ... you're going to love this little gem!!

This was purchased for someone else but apparently has features not normally available on a laptop offering a few things one would expect on cell phone like thumb or finger print access security. This was an open box item with a good discount so I think it was a steal. The reciprient is really enjoying it so I think it may well be worth regular price. I looked at Samsung laptops before but didn't take a chance. I think this one has been upgraded enough to peak my interest in the future for my own use. I love the tablets.
