Perfect sound but could be a better fit.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as sound quality is concerned these are phenomenal I have nothing bad to say about them comparing to the previous models the Galaxy Bud Plus and generation one and not only that the Galaxy but lives completely outperforms those. However the biggest negative on why this did not get a perfect, is the fit the Galaxy bar plus fits in your ear virtually perfectly because it has two ways it fits in an interlocking portion plus it going into the ear these on the other hand only go into the ear and depending on how your ears made or is shaped they may fit they may not fit or they may pop out no matter how much you twist them in to try to get the perfect fit. It just may not work or it could cause your ear some pain I hope Samsung goes back and redesigns these with more of the likeness of a galaxy Bud Plus. But I still stand behind the excellent sound design. Buying them from Best Buy naturally you have a 14-day or possibly 30-day return policy I would still tell anybody to try them out to see if they will work for them and if they do not work going to the Galaxy Bud plus would be the next best thing. Oh and one of the coolest features unless you like to sing behind the songs you listen to is a feature where if you're listening to music and then someone starts to talk to you the moment the microphone hears your voice it will actually lower the music into the background almost like grocery store music in the background so that you can still hear the people that's talking to you because it automatically cuts on ambient sound that feature is phenomenal unless you hum or sing behind the song which would then be a little aggravating luckily you can cut it on and off at your leisure.

I love them
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return my first pair. I do love these earbuds though, I had them on my wish list before I met my boyfriend. We went to the store and got him the black pair and I later ordered these because they don't have the violet in store but wow. Very pleased with the battery life of the galaxy buds. I was at the gym at 4:40pm and left around 7:40pm and still had juice. It was nice. The battery life really is what I need at the gym since I like staying around 2.5 or 3 hrs. Also on chore day it doesn't miss a beat. I like the charging versatility. Wired or wireless charging both options are very nice to have. It kinda sucks that these do not come with a charger or charging cable, but oh well. They definitely sound good and I very much love that they're not getting interference, especially on crowded gym days. So that very much pleasing. HOWEVER, I'm convinced this works best in the Samsung environment, not completely sure about the rest of the Android environment. When I connected this to my 1st gen iPad Pro 9.7 inch ( yeah it's old, but it I can still draw and get updates) the range is not great. I could go to the edge of a room or the room right over and it starts cutting in and out. But with my Samsung phone I can leave my phone in the kitchen and listen to my music IN THE BASEMENT of all places without it cutting in and out. Noice cancelation is alright for the most part. Once the gym starts getting more crowded I can more of the equipment a little but it was definitely better than my old buds. Plus the fact I cannot hear people speaking with them on. The ambient sound mode is very trippy. It's like being able to "hear everything" and I mean everything it amplifies it, my boyfriend says it's like a hearing aid and that's the perfect analogy. I wish the timeout to return to noise canceling was faster than 5 seconds but eh. The fit is something to play with, I initially thought the default tips were fine, for the most part yes, until I do back extension ms at the gym or more intensive house cleaning, then the grip loosens so definitely wannan find that snug but comfy fit. My boyfriend has to use two different size tips, one large and one medium for his ears, I also need sizes because my left ear is prone to falling out when doing activities mentioned. Summary: I love these earbuds and I definitely recommend them.

Just get them and try them out...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Skeptical, but made into a believer. I heard about these coming out when I was looking at the Live buds. Read a few initial reviews, then went for it. I now use these daily for music while working/working, zoom calls, normal calls, pretty much everything. I have other earbuds, but they are not as feature-rich or comfortable. These are quite comfortable and the battery last long enough for me. The app/connectivity with a Galaxy smart-phone is very helpful as well. They have already pushed 2 updates in the last week, with the latter being one to improve the already great active noise-canceling and the ambient sound features. I am overall very satisfied and have been praising them to others.

Work for me... great sound and capabilities
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have truly enjoyed these. These are the first high-end earbuds I have owned. I have a Samsung phone and it seemlessly connects. Many options to optimize sound. Does a great job canceling noise when I mow the lawn and the ambient sound allows me to wear both when I'm shopping. Holds charge well for my use. Only complaint I have is the tips, they loosen to easily and work their way out. I bought aftermarket tips and seem to fit better. Overall, I am pleased with them.

Great all around wireless earbuds.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable to wear long term (fall asleep with them inserted). They fit my ear canals very well and do not feel like they will fall out even while running or weight lifting. The battery life has been very good and the recharging is seamless. The buds pair with my Galaxy S21 and being a Samsung product the features are a nice added benefit. I think the noise canceling is pretty good when I utilize it, but I tend to use the ambient sound mode and voice detect more. I have tried my son's Air pods pros and could not tell much of a difference with the noise canceling. I have an iPhone for work and the buds pair to it just as easy.

Galaxy Buds Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These True Wireless Earbuds are a bit of a disappointment, they do connect easily, the fit isnt great at all in my ears and I have tried the other tips included, sound isn't bad, noise canceling works well, battery life is actually decent, but compared to the Sony WF-1000XM3 Earbuds, these are inferior.

Very good sound with a couple of bugs...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are tons of wireless earbuds on the market now, so it takes quite a bit to stand out and convince you to give away your dollars, especially in the $200 range and higher. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro retail for just about that price, and give you quite a bit for it. They come packaged well, in a sturdy charging case with a short USB-C charging cable, and small/medium/large silicone cups for the ear pieces (medium are pre-installed on them). My box was actually missing guides or instructions, but you can find them easily on the Samsung support site as downloads. The Buds Pro are attractive, looking like slick, giant “beans”. They fit easily in the ear with the right sized tip. They generally stay in place, though I think if I were jogging or running they might need to be pushed back in occasionally to secure the fit. Shaking my head easily, they stayed in, but a couple of times one would pop out if I got carried away. They connect to your Android phone (they don’t play well with iPhones, sorry) via Bluetooth by opening the case to pair them to your phone via the “Galaxy Wearable” app you download beforehand. The app discovers the buds, pairs them to your phone, and gives you access to many adjustments for things like two levels of active noise canceling, six preset equalizer sound adjustments (Normal, Bass Boost, Soft, Dynamic, Clear, and Treble Boost), balance, and more, including a “find my earbuds” feature that causes them to beep when lost to help you find them. I tested these out on two phones including a more entry-level Samsung Galaxy A21, and a Google Pixel 4a 5G mid-range model. Pairing went smoothly on both phones, and so far, the connections remain consistent, even if I move to another room with just one hiccup on the Galaxy A21 where once I did lose the connection after moving about 15 or so feet away from the phone. The Pixel had no issues even up to around 30 feet. Sound is very good and clear, and since you can choose from the equalizer presets, you can make slight tweaks to it to enhance whatever specific type of music you’re listening to. I hear no distortions at all normal levels of music, though if you crank it up to nearly the highest levels you hear some (most people will not use this high of a level though). You can control how you move through your songs via single, double, and triple taps as well as a touch-and-hold action on the side of a bud. Phone calls are very clear in terms of my hearing the person on the other end. In terms of the other person, they tell me overall I’m clear. Double-tapping on a bud answers or ends a call, or switches between two – in theory. I found the tap gestures to be a bit glitchy with calls. They seem to work perfectly when controlling music, but when answering/ending calls, you have to double-tap very precisely and timed just right to get them to do it. I missed a few calls when the buds would not answer as they should, and it took practice to get the right spot and timing in-between taps to get the answer/end bit to work consistently. In terms of comfort, I’d give these a pretty good rating – though I’ve worn some that were more comfortable and some that were much less so, too; middle ground, here. I don’t think I could wear these all day unfortunately, though for up to a couple of hours or so at a time they were ok. Battery life is ok but not stellar. The advertised amount is close to 5 hours. I average around 4 ½ hours, but that was also using the noise cancelling function on high during much of the time, which will use the battery up a little faster. Of course, you can always pop them into their charger case to top them off as needed, too (up to 5 times before the case needs charging). The case does not have a series of 4-5 lights to let you know how much charge it has, though. Just a green or red light to get you know it’s power status. The app will let you know how much the buds themselves are charged. So… are the Galaxy Buds Pro with the price? They’re a little less costly than some other very popular ones on the market right now, but a little more so than others. My gripes with them are the battery life, the tapping glitches for calls, and the comfort level in your ears after a couple of hours – all of which I’d like to see improved on. But the sound and app options are very good, call quality is good enough (once connected), and they look good as well. If they are within your budget and you’re aware of the few blips they have and can live with them, I would still recommend them, but with reservations depending on your needs.

Great buds! Coming from Plus
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to daily drive Jabra, KLH and the OG Samsung buds, but when the Buds + came out, I turned to them and never looked back....Until now. I skipped last years iteration of the Live because the kidney bean just didn't do it for me. The Buds Pro to me upgraded everything that counted most to me. Inside the box you get the buds, charging case and Small/Large tips as the Med is preinstalled and also the USB A to C charging cable. I thought I would need the large as that's what I used on the Plus but the Pro, I felt a lot more comfortable with the Med size. I'll admit, it took me a few hours to get used to the new design (check pics) to make sure I properly had them in my ears correctly. Once I got that down, it was pure audio bliss. Since I already had the Wearables app installed, I just added a new device and bam, instant connection. I also paired with my iPod, which too was also really easy, though I think there is no app for the Apple economy. ANC is better on the Pro then the Plus for me as when properly in the ears, I did not hear anything at my desk at work nor while at the gym. On the other end, Ambient Sounds came in pretty good as well. Not perfect, but enough to hear those around me when needed. Equalizer is the exact same presets as the Plus and found Clear to be my personal preference. Sound to me was a step up from my Plus. Even when set to clear all my music/movies/streams sounded better. At my desk, I always have the left earbud in as my phone is on the right side of my desk, so that way I can hear for it. Saturday working from 9am to 4pm straight, I never took it out to charge and it lasted my full workday. One thing I did notice vs the plus is even though they have the sensors to know when you have them in the ear or not, that the Pro's sometimes did not "Pause" what I was listening too unlike the Plus that 100% always paused. Features were already known to me to Pause (1 tap), Skip (2 taps) or go back (3 taps). Call answering and hanging up worked the same as well. Call quality is a LOT better then the Plus. I used to have to switch to the phone when a call came in with the Plus because they wouldn't always connect properly, but the Pro's worked flawlessly for me. IPX 7 while working out didn't skip a beat when sweat hit them. I've only ever charged the cases via wirelessly and even with protective cases on them, all work as intended. If you are part of the Android ecosystem (and Samsung) these buds are REALLY great and I highly recommend them. Even Apple isn't half bad, though I suggest finding an equalizer if you can for them to get the most out of the buds. Side note. I used these A LOT in the past week due to me being in TX and suffered many power outages. Charging was quick and the buds lasted 8+ hours for me (I didn't have them blasting at full volume mind you) before charging was needed. Because of that, these are 100% my new daily driver.

Great clarity
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds have amazing sound. The bass for the music is deep and you really feel it. When used for calls, the other person said that I was very clear on their end. I also like the noise-canceling effect- I can block out my family! They fit snuggly (and come with 3 different size tips to get the most comfortable fit). They pair nicely with the wearable app. I have the Samsung watch so I already had the app. As soon as I opened the case for the buds, they paired right away. The only downside- I sometimes touch them and change things. I have had music randomly start just by touching something. You can take the touch option off in the app so that doesn't happen but then you can't control the volume and other things by touch. They do have a setting (that you can change) to lower the volume if they detect talking. I talk to my dog and they would lower for 10 seconds. If you make noise while working out and don't want your volume going up and down, you may want to take that setting off. The case charges quickly and then the pods charge in the case. That gives you extra battery life. The magnetic connection ensures that they snap in correctly. These are definitely a good addition to my phone! I have not had buds before but I really like these!

Great sound and features, fit could be improved.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Galaxy Buds Pro are a good choice for someone in the Samsung ecosystem and wants sound quality that is top notch. The biggest appeal of this Buds is the integration with Samsung devices. In the Wearables app, there are a number of useful features that make these earbuds even better. I cannot speak for other phones, but with my S20 Ultra, I find voice detect, dynamic equalizer and 360 audio to be awesome features. The Buds feel like modern earbuds with all these new features we haven't seen before in similar earbuds. Sound quality is very impressive. It has a clear sound, but manages to maintain that booming bass; the balance is impressive, most earbuds cannot balance the two as well as the Buds. Using the Buds made me appreciate Samsung's choice to put two drivers in the Buds. The noise canceling is solid, but has its limits. Voices and loud hums (i.e. a loud fan) can still be heard, but they still provide the isolation from the world. I prefer the sound of the Buds to Bose's earbuds, but the Bose provides better active noise canceling. The ambient mode is good; music at low to medium volumes doesn't affect my ability to hear voices. The AirPods Pro are slightly better at transparency mode and ANC (in my opinion), but the Buds are far better sounding. The microphone is good, but falls behind AirPods Pro, but the Buds do have good microphones. Finally, I thought I should add, the battery life is solid and doesn't prevent me from using ANC or listening for extended periods. For my needs and preferences, the Buds hit every mark for performance and features. My only issue is the fit. At times, they feel great and snug; other times, i have push them back in every so often. It was more frequent at first, but when I put in the proper ear tips, rotated them so the the mic was facing directly down and made sure the ear tip was truly in, it made them far better fitting. I wish they were less of a hassle to fit, but once I got it, there is little to complain about. However, I do think this design may just not work for some. If you have had trouble with earbuds before, perhaps check out Sony's truly wireless earbuds or Bose's. I just can't recommend these in good faith to anyone who has trouble with earbuds before because I have never had an issue, always just used the tips that were attached when purchased, but these were the first. Overall, I would recommend if you prefer sound over ANC/transparency or microphones and haven't had issues with similar designs or are willing to return them.
