Prior to purchasing this I was using a Samsung Galaxy Fit active smart watch (v1). Its a great watch but the battery only lasts around a day. If you want to sleep track you'll never have enough juice on it for that. It also felt a bit heavy on my wrist and had a tendency to turn completely around due to it's weight. I wanted something light and practically non existent. I also wanted something that did a bit less which isn't what everyone's looking for. I wanted to receive push notifications from my phone, have steps tracked along with movement reminders, and have heart rate monitoring but have the option to change the monitoring to every 10 minutes (many trackers only have always on or completely off as an option). The ability to answer my notifications was preferred but not required. I originally planned to go with either a Fitbit Charge 3 or 4 or a Fitbit Inspire. I had even purchased an Inspire from a competing store but they botched the pickup/shipping on it and it either never shipped or they chose not to notify me of it's arrival at the store! The Inspire also had no heart rate options and the HR version is only always on monitoring as far as I can tell. The Charge 3 would have ticked off my requirements save for 1 requirement - my texting and calling. I use Google Voice for all my messaging. There are 3rd party apps to communicate with Google Voice but many reviews I saw seemed hit or miss on the reliability as far as that went and I didn't feel like messing around with so much extra. The Galaxy Fit Active has no such hang up. I wasn't sure going in however since my Fit Active watch has no issue and uses the same apps I decided to try it. It even allows me to use the quick reply option with Google Voice. If you have your Google Voice set to "Use Data/Wifi" for calling you will not see caller ID when receiving a call but rather see "Unknown Number", regardless of whether the caller is in your contacts list or not. At the same price as a Fitbit Charge 3 it has a much nicer screen in my opinion. Its full color and nice and bright, easy to see in all lighting sources I have tested. There are several different watch faces in the app however currently no additional ones available for download. They also offer several widgets which anyone who has used other Samsung smart watch will be familiar with, although not as many as my Fit Active offered (understandable as this is a tracker rather than a full blown smart watch). All in all I'm very happy with this. I've had it over a month now and have found very little about it to complain about. I will say I'm mad at myself for not buying on sale - it was marked down the week before I bought it and I'm sure would have gone on sale again but I chose not to wait. Also, and the reason it's not receiving a full 5 stars, it doesn't get the full 7 days battery it claims in some places I've seen. The very first week I had it, it did seem to. Since it's shrunk back to around 4.5-5.5 days. Not a huge ding for me as my Fit Active barely made a day. I also have had it randomly disconnect from the Bluetooth on my phone, a problem I had with the Fit Active also, however much less than my Fit Active. I'm uncertain if this issue lies with my phone or the apps Samsung uses to communicate with the phone/Bluetooth. This is typically solved by launching the Gear Fit app and letting it re-establish communication, a minor annoyance at best. TLDR: This is a nice tracker with alot of offerings for the price, great for an entry level tracker or someone looking to go minimalist.

I really line this sleek slim activity watch. It did everything I needed. I was able to read text, See caller ID, keep track of my steps and simple health scores. My only complaint is that I wish that they would make the wrist band better. While it is very comfortable, It brokein the midldle of each strap!!! Iwill tr and see if I can replace the strap..

Does a good job of tracking sleep and steps. Good battery life and actually is better with notifications than my Wear OS device that it replaced. Only downside: though it claims to track treadmill activity it really doesn't. Instead it only logs a fraction of treadmill activity as bicycle activity. To be fair, I have yet to find a good treadmill tracker.

Even though I said I would never wear a watch again, this one is soooooooooo comfortable. Smooth, soft band that I can wear loosely around my wrist. The app was super easy to install and connect to the tracker. Does a great job tracking my steps. I am able to see texts and emails immediately. I purchased 6 extra bands in various colors to match my outfits, all very reasonably prices. Once I figured out to remove the bands, it is so easy, but I had to watch a YouTube video to figure it out!! Also purchased a face shield, but have not used it much. Too hard to remove and replace every time I charge it. Charge lasts about 3 days. The charger that comes with it is not very 'stable', so I ordered a stand for it, and it is a lot better. Buying all of the extra items was not a big deal, since I only paid $40 for the tracker on sale.

I cant stress it enough-this watch is incredibly comfortable! Its unnoticeable, but if you really think about it, it just feels soft! I love the look and slimness of it, it leaves no marks on my skin and doesnt wiggle around. I only just recieved it, and I know I'm not a verified customer (my mom bought it for me, I just picked it up), but I have one major dislike; the screen size. Now, overall, the coverage is great, but the bezels are huge. Not horribly, but I hoped the screen would take up the whole area. I wish this to be the case in future products. Overall, I love this watch. I cant wait to show it off at work as it tracks my every step! :)

This is a pretty good fitness tracker for the price. There are better options on the market but at a more expensive price. I like that fact that it's lightweight and easy to wear during workouts. Nice backup watch for the pool and beach. I wish it could control music or pull up Google Assistant but it can't so this watch is very limited.

This is my very first fitness band/watch so I really don't have anything to compare it to. It's easy to set up and to use with many useful tools. The apps., Samsung Health and Gear were already downloaded on my phone, so it was easy to connect, set up and to understand. The battery lasts 7 days! The fitness band will remind you to get up and take a walk or to get a glass of water along with counting steps, heart rate, calories burned, sleep monitor, message and call notifications and even the weather! I am very pleased with this band and would purchase again. :)

I have owned the Galaxy Fit for a month and am very happy with it and feel it is a very good option at this price point. If I wanted music and apps on my wrist, I would have purchased a smart watch, not a tracker. Likewise with GPS, if I wanted to spend more, I could have gotten a watch with GPS but I think this need is overblown. Unless you are an elite athlete, using your phone's GPS is more than adequate and you phone can be easily carried in a runner's belt of something similar. What this tracker does have is a great high quality easy-to-read screen (even outdoors) with excellent touch. It is small, lightweight, and has a simple interface customizable with the Galaxy Wearable app. Coming from Fitbit, the software was a wonderful surprise. Setup was a breeze, options and stats are straightforward, and syncing with my Android phone works perfectly, unlike Fitbit syncing which was very glitchy, slow, and a constant source of frustration. Heart rate tracking works great (turn on 'always' in setting Galaxy Wearable health settings), sleep tracking is better than any tracker I have owned, and notifications from phone apps works well. One type of activity can be started with a simple long press on the Fit's button and you get to pick which one. Battery life is good (I'm sure this varies with usage but 5-7 days is not an unreasonable expectation). The one annoyance that came up often in reviews is the band which is harder to remove than it should be but it is very comforable and durable, looks OK and I was able to quickly get used to it. The other downside is there are not many 3rd party band options available yet but hopefully this will change with time. I think this is the highest quality tracker available at this pricepoint, I would buy it again, and I recommend it.

I bought this to go with my new Samsung Note 9 and the two work very well together. One of the best features for me is that it gives me a notification "vibration" if I start to leave without my phone [if I get too far from it]. It is also very helpful to get the vibration when the phone rings as I sometimes miss calls when the phone is in another room or in my phone. The notifications and readable texts are mostly too small for me to read, but at least I know to get to the phone to check things out. I haven't tried the workout programs, but the steps seem pretty accurate and do motivate me keep moving. The band was a little bit confusing to learn and I feared that it might come lose, but one I learned to use it correctly it is very secure, actually a little bit of a challenge to get off. The "move your arm" to get the screen to show the time works much better than Fitbit for me. I'm also getting better results from the sleep tracker. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

The surprisingly affordable Samsung Galaxy Fit is a sleek, accurate fitness tracker with a lovely display, a simple interface, and long battery life. At 0.8 ounces, it's also super light and comfortable to wear throughout the day. The wristband has a pin-and-tuck closure that feels secure during exercise, though I still prefer the ease of a traditional buckle clasp. As for durability, both the case and wristband are water resistant, so you're safe to wear it in the shower or take it with you for a swim.

I have owned a few of the other trackers, gearfit, fitbit, no name ones too and this one is my favorite tracker of all time. It has many options for watch faces and I love that. It also tracks water intake, blood pressure, heart rate, menstrual cycle, food intake, exercise, alarms, notifications from my cell phone....the list goes on. It is easy to wear and water resistant for swimming. I can charge it and it lasts for days too. It will even tell me when my cell phone needs charging as well. It is all around the best tracker I've ever owned, plus the size isn't too bulky. It's sweet!!

I recently purchased this when the one I had for less than 2 years just stopped working. That had been my 2nd tracker that lasted about 2 years.(both were the same brand). So I did not want to pay that much again for something that didn't last. When I saw this Samsung fit, the price was fantastic and it had most of the same features as my previous 2. I love it. It's light on my wrist, seems to be fairly accurate. If it lasts 2 years, I'd be happy since the price was not nearly as high as the ones that died!!

Had Fitbit Charge 2 and really liked it. However over time it developed a crack in the screen (not due to any damage. Checked and seemed to be a common problem). Tried a versa 2, extremely inaccurate and returned. Tried a Garmin, same problem. Both made you look good as you accrued hundreds of steps while sitting. Have only had this a few weeks buy extremely happy with it. Appears to be very accurate, it's easy to use and an attractive design. App and all the controls are easy to use

Got two for my husband and his dad for Father’s Day and after they had it for a while decided to get one for myself. Especially for the price I’m very satisfied with the product and my purchase overall. Pros: Price — for the price alone its well worth it. I has an Apple Watch Buy found it wasn’t something I utilized frequently other than as a very fancy watch. Since I didn’t needed (or use all the excess features of the Apple Watch) something that has the features that I actually use it for as a timepiece, heart rate & fitness tracking, basic notifications, and sleep monitoring it a great device for not an exorbitant cost. Features— or over filled with extra apps and such thats wouldn’t use. Great colored screen that’s just the right size to be a negligible hindrance to any everyday usage. Also has a do not disturb setting that can be set for intervals so it’s not going off in the middle of the night with notifications. There’s also a pretty decent amount of fitness related widget s that allow for a variety of heath minutiae. Looks— looks good Compatibility— I have an iPhone and my husband has a galaxy, and neither of us had any issues with setup or usage on either device. I also like that there’s no platform incompatibility between devices. Battery— it charges fairly quickly and maintains a charges for quite a few days, even with heart rate monitoring set for one an hour or constant Extras— pretty decent trend tracking and reporting. Cons: 1.App— you need two docent apps to properly use and adjust. One device specific and one health specific. It’s kinda a pain to use, as the menus are a little confusing to navigate and really seems inefficient. 2. iOS specific con- while it will also uses available health data from other apps (Apple Health, etc) it does not (Samsung Health app) act as a data source in reverse, so unless I use the Samsung app I am unable to consolidate a full summary of my non-Samsung related tracking from before with my current data. 3. Vibration notifications can be a little annoying Would buy again and would recommend.

It's nice and sleek, easy to setup. Has many face options and allows you to customize widget displays. Battery life is great, I only take it off when I'm going to bed. You can wear it to sleep to track your sleep patterns. I've set it up to get notifications from call, text. My main purpose of the Fit was for the steps and time, but there is definitely more you can do!

If you're looking for a quality but low cost fitness tracker and have a Samsung then get this. If you want anything more you may want a full smart watch. The quality on the tiny screen is awesome and shows everything you need -time date messages notifications heart rate workouts etc- Only complaint is that the band itself is a little tough to take off and I don't think the band is replaceable but I could be wrong

Great watch and works perfectly! Does everything it says it does plus the watch is lightweight and looks great. However the strap is not good. Had the watch for 3 weeks but last week the strap came off without even being touched and fell off my wrist. Now the watch is lost and $100 dollars gone. I'm not sure whether there is a replacement policy for lost items because this was a manufacturing defect. I will say though, the watch worked perfectly and I would get it again however, the strap needs to be changed or fixed

    My Wife Loves it

My wife has a Samsung cell phone, and she is always searching for a bracelet that will communicate with the phone and track her steps and tell her when she has a text or email. Over the years, third party companies have made such devices, but they seem to all go out of business leaving her with an unsupported product that eventually stops working or communicating with her phone. I got her a Galaxy Fit after reading a few reviews, mostly comparing it to the somewhat comparable Fitbit. The Samsung version is wonderfully colorful (the Fitbit is black and white), and of course, being a Samsung, it parr’s well with her phone. It has plenty of features, but there are four in particular: step counter that communicates with the phone, temperature, alert when she gets a text or email, and a watch. One great thing about the step counter is how It seems to match my Apple Watch. We often walk together, and before she got the fit, her steps were WAY behind mine. Now, we are often well with 100 steps of each other when we walk together. One change we made: we got her a stainless steel mesh bracelet to replace the plastic strap. Look on the internet for it. Here’s how much my wife likes her Galaxy Fit — she wasn’t sure if she wanted the gray one or the black one. So, a few days later, I bought her the other color, planning to return the one she liked less. She decided she wanted to keep both of them(!!). And, yes, I was able to get a stainless steel silver bracelet for the gray one, and a black mesh bracelet for the other one.
