Customers are saying

Customers praise the Galaxy Fit Activity Tracker + Heart Rate for its excellent battery life, ease of use, and comfortable size. Many appreciate the accurate sleep and step tracking, along with the device's lightweight design and ability to receive phone notifications. However, some users experienced issues with the band breaking or compatibility problems with non-Samsung phones. A few also felt the features were somewhat limited compared to other fitness trackers.

    Samsung Fit review

Bought this to replace an aging galaxy gear fit. Price was good and I liked the fact that I could take this product to the pool and do water aerobics while wearing it. The magnetic charger is nice but very expensive to replace or get a backup unit for work ect. Costs half again as much as the watch. The older one was programmable for which wrist you wear it on. This one does not have that feature. The thing that I really liked about both was the ability to help me find my Samsung galaxy phone. Maybe it's because it's smaller but the Bluetooth range of new one is a lot smaller than the old one and there is a time delay before it tells you that you've lost the connection that is quite a bit longer than I had on the old one. This has been the most disappointing thing about this newer watch. I have heard that Samsung has come out with a newer one, would recommend if the Bluetooth range and notification of a loss of connection was as good as my old Gear Fit, but from what I've heard the newer one is designed to make it cheaper and more competitive with other units oh, so I have my doubts. I'm pretty sure that Samsung really wants me to upgrade to another more full featured watches. They are too expensive and chunky looking for my tastes.

This is one of the best activity trackers I have used. I tried several fitbits, but this fits my needs better. It is easy to use, it reminds me when I get e-mails, whatsupps, text messages, etc. It is easy to maneuver and to check your vitals, time, exercise time, and it reminds you when it is time to walk or exercise

So far its holding up very well. I only take it off to charge. I do a lot of water activities & needed a waterproof watch. It has a long lasting charge. I get at least 3 days on a charge. My only complaint is that I would to like to check on heart rate on demand. I've gone on line and see nothing that says I can check it. I think it periodically does it automatically but that doesn't help if I am trying to manage my heart rate. All in all, for the price, it a good value.

I have smartwatch and fitness tracker before and all in all, it is mostly fitness tracker is all I need because frankly, afterall, when you own a device to track your fitness routine, all you need is really just tracking your fitness, heartrate, sleep, etc. Reading messages or taking phone call is really just some extra thing you use in a smartwatch for a short period of time and at the end of the day, you still end up doing what fitness tracker does. I bought this prior to fit 2 but I am pretty happy with it considering it is still magnetic charge instead of fit e clip charge everyone hates about. It does everything I need, if it can measure blood pressure like the galaxy watch active 2 does would be great since it is essentially the same technique. I like to see O2 saturation as well if it can provide which can be tracked when measuring heartrate?? I donno. Battery is pretty good, I charge @ 40%+ every 4 days when I have a shower. But it lasts as much as for a week. I found the drinking water bit is slightly useless. Sleep track well which is a surprise.

I have had both Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Gear Fit 2 Pro. I actually still have both. Like them a lot. Decided to go with the smaller tracker as well - and right now it is my daily watch/fitness band I am using. Like it a lot. Less personalization possible and not music player/storage. but otherwise like it a lot. Lighter, smaller, cute. Bought a white band for it - on eBay - and now I can switch the bands and have additional 'change' to the look and feel.

This is a great workout watch. Very lightweight, you don't know that it's on your wrist. Pairs up with my Galaxy S3 Frontier Watch way better than the Fitbit. I also use this while sleeping to monitor my sleep, it is not as bulky as my S3. Very easy to use and operate. GREAT complement to my S3 Frontier. Battery last for about 4-5 days!

Does exactly what i was looking for has my time, weather, tracks any type of health info i feel u really need, can change tracks to music playing, and gives me any notification i want to recieve on it can set up on your phone wich ones u do and dont want to recieve on it!!! Has minimum luxurys on it but if your looking for a good basic band just to be able to see your notifications this is definently a great one to go with!!! You can quick respond to text nothing too detailed but as for me i do granite countertops and tile work i wasnt looking for all the bells and whistles i was looking for basic if i get a text or call i can easily look at my wrist see who its from then i know wether its important for me to stop what im doing and respond right then or not!!! If your looking for a simple easy notification band thats not super complicated then for the $100 this band is a steal all day long!!! Also battery life is a huge plus i dont do a whole lot of activities on it but do check it frequently and i average about 5 to 6 days on battery life!!!

It is very light, the small screen can sometimes make it hard to use. Not as responsive as the higher end smart watches. It's great for tracking and receiving notifications. Screen sometimes freezes and requires to be restarted. Have had the band come off the watch while playing football. If you main intent is to use it as a fitness watch then I recommend it.

Really great tracker, easy on/easy off, lightweight, super responsive, keeps track of all my stats. The little reminders "time to get moving" are also a nice touch when lost in work, need to get up for a quick walk around the office. Long batter life, quick charger, and sleep monitor is a plus.

budget smart tracking with all functions, the notification works very well, screen so bright, I could read it while outdoor. battery last for 4-5 days depend on how setting on notification, this 'll drain out battery. the con is hardly pair with IOS. watch out for it. thicker than Fitbit. I have both black and silver ; that easy to match with after colorful band than black.

It's a nice watch. Has a lot of main features that you need in a fitness tracker ie: heart rate, steps, stairs, alarms, timers. If you download the apps for this watch you can keep track of your food intake for the day. The only downfall is that it is small/narrow. It barely fits a man's wrist and I have yet to find an extended band for it. Fits most women's wrists. It's a good one to try out. Also when downloading apps to sync to your phone you need to download the Samsung Wear app along with this Samsung fit app. Once you sync it to the Wear app it will tell you what to download.

Loved the bright OLED display on my Gear Fit 2 Pro, but it finally died after years of [ab]use. Got this to replace it, and very pleased. It's narrower but thicker, but not crazy thick. The display is still great bright OLED color, but more importantly, it operates MUCH faster than the older Gear Fit 2 Pro, and the battery life is WAY better. Gear Fit 2 Pro was good for 2 days, where this Galaxy Fit is good for 5-6 days it seems! I typically just recharge it a bit while I take a shower (so not long) and that's good enough. I forgot my charger when away for a long weekend, no issues! It calculates sleep hours basically instantly, and I prefer the way it operates, including heart rate. It automatically tracks a workout no problem. For the price I don't see how it can be beaten. And for me, it's ideal since I don't care about GPS,

For the price, can't really complain if a basic fitness tracker is all you need. It counts steps and can measures heart rate in real time. It has other functions such as sleep tracking, but unsure how accurate those other features are. Other pluses are it only needs charging about once a week and can get bright enough outdoors

I have a mom who's never been able to sit still. I gifted her this on Mother's Day and wow, she loves it. She loves keeping track of how many steps she walks daily and even makes her go for a walk on slower days to reach an average number of steps. It's also not too complicated for her (vs say an iwatch). The only difficulty we ran into was updating the software. It got stuck downloading. Took some research on the internet to realize that her iphone (which turns off every couple minutes for power) needs to stay unlocked all throughout the update. If you don't turn off the lock feature until you update, the phone will turn off and it stops the updating.

I bought my Galaxy Fit so that I could start walking. I like that I can track my steps, my heart rate; even while showering, and the way that I sleep at night. It can be used while dancing, biking and even hula-hooping. Even though I could have started walking a couple months ago, without a tracker, I'm glad that I made this purchase.

Because of problems with my phone, I wasn't able to sync this with the cell phone, thus eliminating a few functions the tracker is capable of. I don't mind this, because I can read the information on the face of the watch, while on some other devices, the information can only be read on the cell phone, and this also doesn't interfere with cell phone calling. I really do like it. It tells me the time, tracks my steps, heart rate, can remind me to breathe properly. I like the step tracker.....good motivation....and love the fact that it tracks my heart rate.
