I purchased this phone for my 5th grader. The price is just right for a first phone. The overall performance is pretty good. The phone does what it needs to do.

Phone is great, price was ridiculous cost 3X more because its for AT&T. Same phone for Virgin mobile was one third the price!

Purhaces this as a replacement phone without renweing contract. Build seems flimsy and not too much bloatware.

It started out OK but as the days go on, it's not the best. Still better than the old phone my husband had but disappointed it's not as good as he thought it would be. I have a Galaxy & loved it until recently when I've been having issues. It's a shame phones are made to wear out so fast especially with how much they cost!

SLOW LOADING, LAGS/FREEZES. DEFINITELY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO ANYONE.

Speaker goes in and out while speaking on the phone. Camera is trash.

I bought this phone to replace another samsung and it was a piece of s junk it was a year old and stop working and I lost all my photos and contacts best buy could not help me and samsung did not care

I bought this phone in an emergency when my old phone broke and I had to have something. Even for that purpose I've regretted this purchase just about every day I've used it. I knew the camera was weak at 8 MP and storage was low when I got it. The fact that it had removable storage made me think the storage wouldn't be a problem, that was my first mistake. Only about 60% of apps I've found let you move them completely to the micro SD card, so I fight almost daily with having to run device maintenance and clear up storage on the device even though all media and apps possible are on the external storage. Worse than the storage options is an issue I didn't realize it had when I bought it. The processing power on this is very abysmal. I knew it wasn't the latest but I wasn't concerned about gaming or complicated apps. Case in point if I'm running google maps navigation and have either Spotify or my Podcast app playing, the phone can ring and the screen will not respond in time for me to answer before the call goes to voicemail. I never had such a problem with this with phones 5 years older. Every app could be crashing but at least the phone functions were always responsive, not so with this J3.
