Got it for my son. Can't beat the deal when it is free with credit from Verizon. Not top of the line, but good first phone for my 12 yr old son who couldn't wait until he turns 9th grade.

This is my first smart phone so I have no comparison. However, I can say that it is easy to use for a beginner- especially if you have had a Samsung tablet in the past. They are similar.

This is a great beginner phone for a child. The phone is wonderful, the camera could be better. Love the features and how we can limit usage and what can be done!

Once I learned all about the phone, I love it. Games, are great! Even tells me when calls are possible risk of high risk to Go calls. Easy to block those #'s.

Got this phone as a replacement for my son. He lost it. So far works greats. Works outside the U.S. His other phone did not. Simple to use and easy to customize.

After having a Galaxy S7, the J3 is a bit less slick, but functions very similarly. I don't miss most features that set the S7 apart from the J3, and I have several extra hundred dollars in the bank!
