Elderly mother (89) learned to use it quickly

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We added this phone and a new line so mother(89) would have a usable phone during cable outages which are too frequent. It didn't cost anything other than two years of line access so it was an easy choice if she could learn to use it. She had never had a cell phone, but caught on quickly to voice texting. We are happy with how it works for her. It is not fast, but that is not an issue in this case.

However, when I reviewed $40.00 Verizon plan, it added another $20.00+ dollars for a 'line access fee' plus tax and surcharges. I've been getting the same service without the line access fee for $10.00 less for 10 years from a prepaid service, so I returned phone and went back to previous service. It adds up!!
