Since day 1 this unit gets hot and will not hold a charge. We have had it back to the store twice. They push buttons and tell us there is nothing wrong with the unit. We have bought a new case, new charging cord and still nothing seems to fix the unit.

I bought this for a family member who keeps losing their phone. I was very surprised when I received it that it looks and performs just as well as my expensive galaxy.

Let me preface my review by saying that much in life is truly relative. Prior to purchasing the Perx, I was an iPhone user and naively thought that I could tolerate the Perx because it was notably less expensive. Honestly, had I upgraded to the Perx (from a non-smart phone), I might be joyous; such is not the case. Call quality is poor, design is questionable at best. And it's slow, slow, slow with lag time between apps. If you push buttons too quickly, the phone freezes. Camera delay causes blurry pictures. In all transparency, I do like the larger screen and battery life is excellent---but these are the only real positives to which I can attest. Yes, I did research the product on Amazon prior to my decision and it was fairly highly rated. When I later went back to reread user comments, yep, the positive comments were from those who had either "upgraded" to this model, or were already using a Samsung phone.
