I have tried to leave the world of ios several times before, but it just never worked well enough for me to make the switch. That has changed with the Note 5. It is very comfortable to hold finally. Android 5.1.1 is very easy to use. And unlike iPhone's, this is extremely customizable. So many options. The S-pen will take some getting used too, but that will come with time. It finally works well with my Mac. Battery life is better than expected with power saving mode off. I will be recommending this phone to any one that needs a new phone for sure!

I have owned a Note phone ever since the 2nd Note generation.
I gave up my iPhone for the Note at that time and realize the the iPhone was overrated.
The key for me with having a Note has always been the stylus and the functionality of the stylus gets better and better especially for signing documents, memos, doodling, scrolling, hovering over pictures and documents to read or view and the list goes on.
It also nice Not to have to pay for apps.
Even though the Note 5 has 64GB but does not have an expanded memory card slot you can expand the memory on this phone by buying a Dual USB DRIVE 3.0 64GB( which you can put on your key ring).
The phone is awesome.

I purchased two of these phones for my husband and daughter. They loved the color and the size. This was a Christmas request that I had to grant. THEY ARE IN LOVE WITH THEIR GIFTS!!

I've been a die-hard Samsung Soldier for about 8-9 years! I've been really excited to upgrade to the Note 5. It certainly lived up to the hype. The phone runs very very fast! The camera is amazing! The new all glass and metal form factor is really sleek and sexy- but I always have a case on it. I'm scared to death about dropping it. There have been vast improvements to the S-Pen and pen software on the phone. The screen quality and clarity can't be beat right now by ANY phone on the market.
This is the phone you need.

I went into BestBuy ready to purchase a Galaxy S6. The Samsung associates asked what I was using the device for, mainly gaming and watching shows/streaming. They guided me to the Note5. This phone is amazing. A large screen, a stylus for accurate selection and even drawing apps, large 64 GB storage, long battery life, and the OS is solid. The one thing I had to get used to was the window button where the settings/menu button used to be. I will be using this phone for a long time. The battery life is impressive.

After having a Galaxy S4 for a long time with no issues, I decided to upgrade and get a bigger phone. I bought the Note 5 after reading all the reviews of the phone. The phone has been a great phone. I've had the phone since it came out and I love it. It's display is awesome and clear, the camera takes superb pictures and it doesn't lag in speed at all. I was a little worried about the battery performance, but this phones battery has done very well and the quick charge option makes it very convenient to bring up the battery percentage in a very short amount of time. I would definitely buy this phone again if I had to.

The Samsung Note 5 has everything including a built in stylus. It works really well although I do have problems with my Legend Bluetooth ear piece. Overall a great buy.

Not actually as big as I first thought it would be. I'm enjoying all the features. Trying to get used to the pen, but I know I'll eventually will use it more often.

The Galaxy Note 5 is a premium device in looks, price, and productivity. As a user of all operating systems/hardware (Windows, iOS, and Android), My ideal mobile phone would include the Lumia 1020's 41-megapixel camera; Apple's apps; and Samsung's Note hardware. Besides the sleek design, its best features include a fast operating camera and wireless charging (I got the separate charger free with my purchase). Battery life is average and you likely would need to use the battery saving modes or carry an external battery pack to survive heavy usage during a day. A glaring concern is the lack of a 128GB option. Storage space on a device becomes vital when cloud options are not available or large enough.

I've always had good experiences with Samsung phones, starting with their Blackjack model to their S3 and S4 and now their Note 5 with 64GB. Yeah their battery is built in on this model and no SD card expansion slot but really, I never had to replace my batteries in my previous Galaxy's and never needed more than 64GB before. This Note 5 is fast, takes unbelievable pictures and the AMOLED screen is sharp. Very happy with my upgrade. btw . . I've read that Samsung will be pushing out Google's newest OS Marshmellow as soon as it's released to the S6 and Note 5 models, Yahoo!

Gorgeous and has more features than I have been able to use as yet. The stylus does pop out easily unlike previous Notes. I lost mine pretty quickly.

I bought this outright (no contract) to use on StraightTalk with an AT&T SIM. So, it's crazy expensive but I still believe it's worth it. I had a Note 3 before, so not a big difference in size. However, the wireless charging, screen resolution, finger print unlock, etc are very nice. I'm especially looking forward to Samsung Pay when it's available. I've also installed all my previous apps and the battery life seems way better than the Note3.

I had the LG G3, Oneplus One, Note 4, LG G Flex 2 and the Galaxy S6, and this is by far my favorite. Everything about it from the design to the feel, the camera to the software and the battery life to the audio quality is excellent. People complain about the non-replaceable battery and non-expandable memory, but I really don't miss it. I did go for the 64GB edition but overall, I highly recommend this phone. I absolutely think it's fantastic!

I wanted to stay with removable battery phones and extra storage however when i started playing around with this phone at the store i was in love and the extra storage seems to not be needed with 64gb of memory its just seems to be enough memory for my phone and hopefully when a 128gb comes out i will upgrade next year. The pen function is amazing taking notes with simplicity is wonderful with a pen on the side. Also i briefly used the note 4 and this is a great improvement from its predecessor so yes give it a try you wont be disappointed.

Great Phone, Great Features, But...

I don't know why, but Samsung took out things that made the Note 4 great, like a pedometer on the lock screen, instantly adding apps to folders instead of clicking-hold-dragging each individual one and putting it into the folder, and that awesome tap the screen to take a picture feature. It's a fantastic phone, I just wish they hadn't taken simple things out that were really working well for them in the past.
One more thing - the speaker is incredibly sensitive. Certain stations on iHeart, for example are highly distorted, bright and nasaly. I think it's just a matter of a software tweak, but until then a lot of things are just unpleasant to listen to on the phone's native speaker.
Also, no expandable memory. I can deal with a battery, but why didn't Samsung put an SD door on the side of the device?
