Customers are impressed with the Galaxy Note Edge's camera quality, large screen size, and ease of use. Many appreciate the unique edge screen and stylish design. However, some users experienced issues with battery life and occasional performance slowdowns. The edge screen, while a highlight for some, was also cited as a potential contributor to battery drain.

I really like the phone. Overall, I'm happy with my choice but I feel Samsung is still due for lots of improvements for this particular phone. While TouchWiz may be functional and optimized for other models, it seems the Edge is suffering a bit from it. I truly believe the software management of the edge screen is using up more system resources than it should. Again, overall, a great phone.
Some Pro's:
- Design, camera & picture quality, screen definition, battery, edge screen use
Some Con's:
- Performance - Phone sometimes gets slow. Not as smooth as the S4 or S5
- Some edge tabs (especially news) are not efficient and smart (i.e. they don't let you scroll the text manually)
- TouchWiz froze at least 2 or 3 times (may be due to lack of memory or something similar)
- Sometimes I see onl like 500MB memory avail even if there's nothing running
- Samsung takes *forever* on releasing Android updates
Some points to be aware (may be pro or con depending on your view):
- Size - it's not a small phone and one-hand operation is very difficult unless you've got big hands. On the other hand, it's easy to see/read anything
- It can clearly be seen in your pocket
- Still limited availability of screen protectors, cases, etc

I went from an iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and I would like to say that it was the best decision I've made when it comes to electronics. I switched because of the constant issues I was having with my iPhone functioning after ios updates and decided it was time to venture out of the Apple world. The Edge made it easier for me to do so because of its cool futuristic look it was definitely a interesting concept and very intriguing. I've had my phone for about 3 weeks now and it hasn't had any major issues the occasional lag like most phones but rarely. Also the S-Pen is very accurate for a stylus looks exactly like my handwriting. I'm a college student so the Photo Note feature is a bonus and very useful to anyone who takes pictures of notes and feels the need to add more to them. The front camera is ok I think it could be better when it comes to lighting it makes you look kind of pale but the back camera is great. Last but not least The Edge...when buying this phone I was debating trying the Note 4 instead but I just couldn't settle because the edge was something new when it comes to phones and I just had to have it. Let's just say I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I hated when I got a call in the middle of browsing or texting and it interrupted me and with the edge that is no longer an issue. It also has some cute games but I do wish they create some more panels for it. The edge is definitely cool but I think they can make it even better with more features. So all in all I would definitely recommend this to someone. All of my friends loved it when they saw it and I get plenty of compliments on the phone it's literally a conversation starter whenever someone sees me using it.

The phone is super fancy looking, I get compliments all the time. However, it is very big if you're not used to a big phone and it really has all the same features as any other samsung phone. The side bar is pretty cool. The only reason I got this phone was because it's the last samsung phone that has an SD card slot (I would have went with the S6 Active personally). Another weird change is that when you plug in your headphones it doesn't have the frequently used applications for headphones (which I think is weird - but also maybe I just don't have that set up? I don't think it's an option).

Long story short, this is the best phone I've ever owned (and I have been an iPhone owner for 7 years). Nothing out there is like this phone (not even the S6 Edge with it's little sliver of an edge on the sides that have minimal function). Even without the edge, the rest of the phone is awesome, but the edge look and functions put it over the top. The price was hefty when it came out, but it has dropped dramatically since and still the best looking/functioning phone out there, especially with it's removable back (which Samsung has recently done away with) to add your own memory and replace the battery easily (if ever you'd need too).

I can't begin to describe how great this phone is. The size, the quality pictures the camera takes, the side bar that's amazing in itself and the great battery life. Watching movies on the phone is like watching a 4G movies on a 65 inch screen. It's so clear that I can take my eyes off of it. I hardly ever watch movies on my tablet anymore. Overall, just a great phone to have.

I really like large clear colorful screen.
I don't like the fact that after three weeks, my screen has locked up three times and the home button wouldn't even work.
I like backing up by data and contacts to an SD card.
ln general, I belive it is a great and functional phone. The edge provides great quick shortcuts to frequently used apps, etc.
Happy to be free of the iPhone shackles.

I use my cell mainly as a notebook for my tasks, appts, notes, email, etc. Very rarely do I make or receive phone calls or text. The edge will flash and/or scroll info when anything new has come up without me having to open the main screen. This way, at a glance I can determine whether it can wait or needs to be dealt with immediately. I prefer keeping the home screen clean of apps so I have a full screen area for whatever I am doing. All of my favorite apps, utilities & contacts are saved to the edge for immediate access. I am experimenting with existing and new panels for the edge so I am still in the training/learning stage. So far, I love what it can do.

My Note Edge is quickly becoming my favorite device. The large screen make it easy to read messages and see images from it. The side or "edge" feature displays alerts without having to see entire screen in unable to do so. I love it!

I like the screen and it is a nice phone, but it has way too many problems such as:
1) PayPal will not log out.
2) EBay says I have no items listed.
3) Constant annoying pop-ups
4) Etc., Too many more too list
I have both an iPhone and this phone.
Buy an iPhone if you want hardly any problems. Cool gadget, but that is all I would use it for. Not good for everyday needs. Not reliable enough. Like I said, "Too Many Problems/Issues for a very expensive phone.

+upgrade from S3. Faster. Louder. Comfortable with good grip, even without a case. Wanted SD card slot and replaceable battery, and the S6's Edge wasn't as functional.

I am a Samsung "lover" but I am not blind to faults.
I got this phone through AT&T and so far I am happy with my purchase... that being said I am a bit perplexed at how difficult it is to free up cpu usage. The side bar is great and very useful, the camera is amazing, the video quality is great, the features are fun and useful.

The note edge takes amazing pictures and I love almost EVERYTHING about this phone. Alyssa was amazing in helping my mother and I with this purchase. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me decide on the best route when getting my phone. The only issue I have is that the phone itself is acting up but I believe it is a software problem so I'm getting it exchanged. Live best buy

I upgraded from the Note 1 to the Note 4 Edge. Can't believe how fast it runs. I like also how some of the functions I had to download on my old phone came standard with my new phone. Getting a kick out of the wide selfie feature on the camera.

Went from Note 2 to the S5. Missed my note!! Upgraded to the note edge. So far I really like it. Takes some time to get used to using the edge. Screen protectors and cases are very limited. To do it over again, I'd probably just get the note 4.
