I've had the phone for a year now. I previously had a Note 2 and wanted an upgrade at Note 7 until all the battery fires changed my mind and I waited. The battery in this one works great. I can usually charge every other day in 30 minutes using the fast charger that came with it. I do not use the phone capability often. I mostly use it for light texting (I'm in my 50's), checking my work email and calendar, GPS use while driving, and taking pictures for my job. I like the S pen because I have big fingers and like the finer control but I never use the special features on the S pen except I did a screen capture twice, which was easy enough. I like the way the screen stays in a mode where it's mostly black but a light clock appears on it except during the hours I told it to go away. I use the phone as my only portable time piece. Two things drive me crazy about this phone: 1. Spell checker constantly changes normal words and phrases into crazy things. "Did you..." almost always becomes "doff tippy..." What the heck does that mean anyway!? I was shocked when it translated a normal every day word like "backwards" in to "blaxploitation," a word I have never used or said except to tell people about this odd occurrence. 2. The curved edges are gimmicky to me and mostly just create risk. I hate them. because of them, the phone guards that I would use to protect it from droppage are not great - they have to make room for you to touch the edge, which leaves the screen hanging out where it can get broken easily. I dropped my note 2 many times over several years with no worries when it was in its Ballistic case. This one has been almost ruined twice in a year by simple drops. I use the glass screen covers to protect it and they shattered just as they are intended to,but because of those stupid curved edges, none of the screen covers work right. I've been through 3 so far - all let dust get under them. One was installed by the Samsung rep at Best Buy. It was full of dust in a month. I put the others on and they lasted a few months. They just do not have enough glue area to hold well and they only attach at the top and bottom because attaching at the curved side would not work. I want the flat screen back.

Samsung really improved on where it left off over the previous year’s Note. It has the perfect screen size without being to big in your hands. The screen is absolutely amazing and vibrant. I will admit I’m disappointed in the color option because I only like the black color. Loyal Note fans will really love the Note 8.

I have never LOVED a phone before, but i love this one. The camera is amazing. And everything on it runs seamlessly.

The camera is great,the phone itself works great, streaming is easy, the screen is nice overall it's the best phone.

Ok, so I went to specifically get this phone. I have been waiting since the Note 7 mess up. I have had the phone 2 weeks. Battery Life is fairly good. The pen is awesome. I still have to try most of the features. I encourage you to signup for Samsung pay. It works much better than any other payment by phone method out there. I have already tried Bixby, and while I am not impressed with it as a replacement for a google home, on the phone it works for much of what I need.

Two things I don't like are the ads that pop up on lock screen and the edge part. It hits things easily and skips my music or loses places in my book. Things I like- love my stylus, face recognition when I pick my phone up, and the battery life.

Upgraded from the Note 4. The Note 8 has great additions with the functions of the S Pen. Battery life is great.

The Note 8 is an up grade for my Galaxy 6 Edge+. I love the fact that the Note 8 is larger with more features.

Love my Samsung galaxy note. Large screen and display are awesome. Camera is AMAZING compared to the galaxy 5.

I am still learning this phone but so far I love it. The camera is terrific and the battery life is awesome.

The phone was fast and the S pen was awesome, just couldn't get used to the size ( to big) so I got the S8.

This is an amazing phone; the cell phone has a great display resolution, good battery life, lots of RAM, and a slot for an external SD card (glad this feature is revived compared to my Note 5). The only downside is that the battery isn't larger (in terms of mA), but it seems to last me the entire day.

This phone is outstanding. It's top of the line specs are made specifically for a power user, or someone who needs it for work. The screen is beautiful and the pen is very useful.

I bought the Samsung note 8 and I love it. Best phone ever. Battery life is improved. Larger than before

This phone is very fast and i love the stylus. Plus i saved $350 when i bought it since it was on sale.

Battery life is way better than the s7 edge even though it's smaller... Great camera. Screen is awesome.

I'd been an iPhone user for years when my 6S kicked the bucket. Decided to try the Android world again and I've been totally in love with my Note8 ever since. Total powerhouse, amazing screen, and I use the S-pen way more than I ever anticipated.

I really like this phone - screen is great and the performance is excellent. It is huge to carry around - I like the big size when I'm using it, just not so much when I'm trying to fit it in my purse. It fits well in my hand, especially for its size. And I really like the s-pen too.
