One of the best phones on the market now and an amzing upgrade from my old Note 4. Gorgeous screen and almost no lag, even when gaming. It is taller than most phones, but about average width. Stylus is also useful for precise actions.

I've owned this for over a month now. I previously owned a note 3 for 4+ years. First off, the 8's processor is much quicker and doesnt bog down as easily. The screen also looks much brighter and clear. The camera is great and the Pen technology has advanced well. Multi window is quick, and lots of new goodies available. The phone is less wide and more tall than the note 3. It fits better in your hand but i could live with it being a little shorter in height. In front pocket, sitting down it almost touches my hip? Overall, I could have been content with my Note 3 and a fresh battery, but it does meet my expectations and is a great phone.

If you preordered this phone and you have Verizon, the best place to do it is through Best Buy. No other place for a better deal! Anyhow, my review of this phone. The screen is massive, the dual cameras are AMAZING, and the S-Pen is fun to use. Bixby is quite the useful phone assistant I imagined I always wanted so far, if only it could be used offline though for the voice dictation. The dual camera set up is very nice to use, especially for the Live Focus mode. It really takes DSLR-like photos and really cuts down the hassles of taking such portrait photos. I don't know how to rate the battery life, but it is pretty efficient because of the new Snapdragon chipset, despite having a smaller battery compared to my S7 Edge, Overall though, I would recommend the Note 8 is you can get grab a great deal on it!

I am not sure how durable this handset will be due to numerous accounts I have read indicating that even with a high-quality case and screen protector that this phone breaks easily from minor drops. Nonethieless, so far it seems quite an upgrade in speed and fluid transitions compared to my Note 4. The extreme battery saver mode looks like it will be very beneficial because it allow one to access the most essential applications and functions with relative ease while GREATLY increasing the battery life.

I originally had the Note 7 and I loved it. The Note 8 is a step above. Great battery life and options available. This will be a phone I will be keeping. The camera is by the best one even compared the iPhone. I highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a premium handset.

So I upgraded from an iPhone, the last update made my phone extremely slow... frustrated I went to go night he new iPhone x, well no luck bc it was sold out. So I decided to upgrade to the Samsung galaxy note 8. I was hesitant for about a week, but now I love it. I feel like I've missed so much with being limited with an Iphone. I'm a super busy person at work, love the fact I can take a quick note with the stylus and screen. Sad to see the post it's gone but now I'm able to have digital. Customization! It's awesome! Goodbye iPhone

Had been waiting for over a year to upgrade my note 4. I've always been a fan of Samsung, and my note was no exception. Was funding it difficult to justify spending the money on a new phone unless it could out perform my note 4. This phone fit every criteria, great camera, beautiful screen and fast processer. love the wireless charging also.

There are several upgrades that I see, coming from the Note 5. The ability to add memory, IP63 rating and processor speed make the upgrade worthwhile. There are a few annoyances like Bixby. Seriously, who cares, and why can't I disable this thing? The addition of a hardware button is nice, I just wish it were programmable an not stuck forever to a feature I'll never use. I also dislike the back button not being able to be left on. Now to simply go back a screen, it takes two pokes at the screen, which becomes profoundly annoying if you are attempting to do work on the device. The final item is the supposed selling point, the curved screen. The screen is nice, but nothing to swoon about. An all of the phone case builders leave the screen exposed to drops. Who cares that I can see color from the side while it is placed face-down, I would prefer to have protected screen. My advice is to invest heavily in screen protectors for this device. Overall, I rate this a "meh." If speed and memory are important to you, it may be worth it. Be be aware that you are trading off the ruggedness of the device, and the curved screen really makes this a collassal pain in the backside.

I had a Note 3 that was still working fine, almost four years old. The Black Friday sale convinced me to upgrade. I was pleasantly surprised at significant improvement in speed, camera, video, ok Google assistant, etc. Glad I upgraded. Best part is wifi calling in my area where Verizon towers are weak. I do not need a landline anymore.

The rep at Best Buy gave a great overview of this phone and other iPhones and Androids. This is my first Note phone and this is the only reason I stayed with Samsung. I was not happy with my S7 Edge but utilize the smart pen on this Note every day for writing, texting, and scrolling. The larger size screen is also nicer. There were a few apps/games tat Samsung pre-loaded which I deleted but other than that, phone worked great out of the box. The camera us is better than the S7 and this Note phone runs faster as well. Overall, would reocmmend this phone if you want to use the Pen device.

I'm thoroughly impressed with the changes to the Note8. After its predecessors malfunctions, I wasn't sure Samsung would produce another Note. The screen is beautiful, as you'd expect. It's intuitive & smooth. I love the elongated screen with no physical home button. The battery life is very impressive! Kudos, love this device!

I was hesitant to get this phone due to it's size but after having it for a couple weeks I've found that it has not been the issue. The back and front camera quality are great, especially in low light settings. The phone runs fast and smoothly. I would recommend considering the Note 8 - one of the nicest phones out there.

I dont usually get the latest and greatest but this newest offering from Samsung is worth it! Sleek but not too big for someone with small hands. I havent used all the new bells and whistles yet but the screen writing features are amazing. I didnt think I missed the note taking function but it sure comes in handy!

I got this for my wire to replace her note 4 and she loves this phone because of the battery life and screen. Expandable memory is a huge plus and once we receive our free memory card and wireless charger she will be thrilled. The phone is a little heavy and it is hard to find a case that will protect the edges.

I haven't had the phone for very long about 2 weeks. So far it has been great. I am a long time Apple/iPhone user. This years offerings didn't attract me in the least. It was time for a change. I was a bit apprehensive at first with the Samsung but I think it mostly came as groing pains from making the the switch from the iOS ecosystem to Android. The screen on this thing is amazing as is the camera. Personally I haven't really found a great use for the stylus yet other than the smart select option. This doesn't necessarily bother me as I didn't purchase this phone because of it. Overall so far the functionality of this device has been great, very fluid and with little issue what so ever. The only gripe i have at this point is the battery seems to drain quicker while in standby than any of the iPhones had. Although, it seems to make up for it when you are actually using the phone. I've noticed the battery consumption seems much less than that of the iPhones. I don't have any concrete facts to back this up but it's just something I've seemed to notice after the last few weeks of use. Speaking of the battery, I can say that I'm a fan of the quick charge it certainly takes noticably less time to charge. I feel confident that in the next few weeks of use I will become more and more comfortable with this phone.

Upgraded from Galaxy 6 Edge and have not been disappointed. Faster phone, better camera, great screen and the stylus is a nice plus. Bixby is something new and different but I like the concept.

So far this phone is awesome. I replaced my dying Note 4. So glad I did. Great camera, long battery life, nice screen size, love how the pen snaps into phone. I would recommend this phone.

I have always owned Samsung phones since the first Galaxy device. Since then I have has the S3, S5, S7 and now the Note 8 (I skipped the S6 due to no expandable storage). The Note 8 seems to once again exceed my expectations. The battery has been lasting my over days with normal use. The bell and whistles of the Note 8 are fantastic with the S-Pen, Samsung Pay, Edge screen, and the dual camera set up has been working great (my daughter has the IPhone7 Plus with the dual camera set-up and we have compared photo shoots and the Note 8 stands up with the Apple). So far there is noting bad I can say about the phone and am looking forward to using more of the functionality of it for years to come.

A lot of people were skeptical about this phone because of the Note 7. But this just blows everything out of the water. This phone has great battery life, doesn't overheat and performs wonders. I would buy this again over any phone so far.

Great phone, I had the note 4 before and it was working fine but decided that it was time for an up grade and I'm still trying to get a handle on all the new tech. Great camera especially in low light, faster and just a great looking phone.
