Samsung continues the Note legacy with the 8. The camera is amazing. I was stunned at the video quality. Additionally, it is a mega powerhouse. Blazingly fast and stable. Honestly, I don't do this phablet justice with it's capability. Fingerprint scanner is fine, I have no issues with it at all.

The Galaxy Note8 is the best phone yet. I was tempted to switch teams to go Apple, but made the right decision to stay Samsung. It obviously has all the advertised functionality but is even better once you get to know it. It feels good in your hand, fits nicely in a pocket or purse. I get compliments every day since i bought it. Oh, and the color is amazing! Love it!

I just switched from being an Iphone user for the past 9 years to the android Samsung Note 8. It really is like having a mini touch screen laptop with me at all times. It has so many features that Apple just cant get close too. They are improving every year but will not reach the level of Samsung probably for another 8 years. I would recommend to anyone with an iphone or wanting to upgrade from another Samsung device! Also the Deep Blue color only available at Best Buy is awesome. No one i know has this color so its easy to identify.

Note 8, upgrade from Note 4; so far very pleased with my Note 8. Actually wish it was as wide as my Note 4, but getting use to it. Battery life is better. Picture, video, graphics a bit better. Faster than my Note 4 and Apps sync better. Almost bought the S9+, but could not give the S-Pen and saved money with Note 8, verses waiting for Note 9.

I left the Apple boat for this phone. So I still have a lot to learn (but I'm making progress). Stuff I love - the large screen size - it takes AMAZING photos & video - the s pen - so many cool features Things I don't love - the battery life is the worst I've ever experienced - the infinity display can be awkward to hold without inadvertently touching the edge and causing chaos in a mobile game or in an app - Bixby & Google assistant can use some advancements. They seem to be easily confused. Overall so far I love my phone and look forward to getting used to it and getting more usage out of it.

I've loved the note series since the note 3. Every year it has gotten better (except for last) and the size and performance is perfect.

This phone is larger that the Galaxy Note II I had, but the style is sleeker. I love that the pen has to be pressed in order to pop out. I kept loosing the pen on the Note II. Overall, the phone is great for anyone that is a multitasker and love taking pictures. I use it for business purposes and it gets the job done with no complaints.

Had this phone for a couple of weeks now it's great day and a lot you can did with the camera the battery seems to lat a long time too

This is my first Note. I am still learning it, but already know it's the best phone I have had. Love the camera and the stylus.

We've been using Samsung Galaxy phones for years and decided to go with the Note this time. I was a little worried that the phone would be too big to hold, especially for my girlfriend. This is now our favorite phone we've had by far. Great camera, great battery, fast, and great screen. Really glad we went with the Note.

This phone is amazing! Picture quality is great. Taking notes with pen is handy. Huge screen but expected when buying a note.

I love my new blue Note 8. The voice sound is SO clear. It takes great pictures. The battery lasts a good while. I haven't had it long so I have not learned all there is to know about its features. I think it is pretty user friendly and I am not a "techie". I use the note function frequently. It's a great phone and I recommend it.

I don't get a new phone like some. I had a note2 and it was way past time to replace it. The Note 8 is faster, battery life is great, camera takes nice pictures to. I am very happy, my husband saw mine and within a few days upgraded to a note 8 too. :)

As long as you can handle the size, this is the phone for you. S pen is a great tool and the phone runs lightning fast.

I've had the phone for a year now. I previously had a Note 2 and wanted an upgrade at Note 7 until all the battery fires changed my mind and I waited. The battery in this one works great. I can usually charge every other day in 30 minutes using the fast charger that came with it. I do not use the phone capability often. I mostly use it for light texting (I'm in my 50's), checking my work email and calendar, GPS use while driving, and taking pictures for my job. I like the S pen because I have big fingers and like the finer control but I never use the special features on the S pen except I did a screen capture twice, which was easy enough. I like the way the screen stays in a mode where it's mostly black but a light clock appears on it except during the hours I told it to go away. I use the phone as my only portable time piece. Two things drive me crazy about this phone: 1. Spell checker constantly changes normal words and phrases into crazy things. "Did you..." almost always becomes "doff tippy..." What the heck does that mean anyway!? I was shocked when it translated a normal every day word like "backwards" in to "blaxploitation," a word I have never used or said except to tell people about this odd occurrence. 2. The curved edges are gimmicky to me and mostly just create risk. I hate them. because of them, the phone guards that I would use to protect it from droppage are not great - they have to make room for you to touch the edge, which leaves the screen hanging out where it can get broken easily. I dropped my note 2 many times over several years with no worries when it was in its Ballistic case. This one has been almost ruined twice in a year by simple drops. I use the glass screen covers to protect it and they shattered just as they are intended to,but because of those stupid curved edges, none of the screen covers work right. I've been through 3 so far - all let dust get under them. One was installed by the Samsung rep at Best Buy. It was full of dust in a month. I put the others on and they lasted a few months. They just do not have enough glue area to hold well and they only attach at the top and bottom because attaching at the curved side would not work. I want the flat screen back.
