Customers are impressed with the Galaxy Note9's camera, praising its ability to take great shots. They also appreciate the long battery life and the convenience of the S Pen and stylus. However, some users find the price to be a bit high and the phone to be on the larger side.

Let me just say this phone is great all around. The screen quality has improved and watching Netflix/YouTube videos looks phenomenal. The sound that comes from the speakers is great and makes this a very good device to watch videos on, especially if you're waiting on say, an oil change. Low Light photography is pretty good but the camera all around is one of the best. The S Pen is a great tool that can be used for so many things besides doodling. We took some awesome photos without having to ask anyone to take our picture for us! We set up the phone and used the pen to take the pic. The battery life is pretty decent on this phone as well, I've gotten plenty of hours with screen on time and still had plenty of battery left at the end of the day

Galaxy Note 9 sets benchmark on every aspect - Battery, Features, Display, Camera. I don't think other 2018 phones come closer to Note 9
Little pricey though. Recommend to get this device with Thanks Giving or Christmas deals. Black or Blue is my favorite.

I am a big fan of the Samsung galaxy note series. This is my third Samsung Note and I can safely conclude that this is the best phone of the series. Even though, it's not as revolutionary as probably the Note 7 (barring the battery explosions), It makes significant improvements on a lot of key aspects. The battery life is great, The S pen has reach a different dimension and the camera is way more versatile than any other version. Pity that it's so expensive.

The Note is not a phone for everyone. You are better off with a normal S10 variant, but those who like multi-tasking and pen features will find these useful additions great to have but not necessary to function.
First off the new S Pen works as it always have; amazing. The additional feature to use it for things like taking pictures has been very useful when taking selfies with the back camera and propping the phone against something for when you want the best pictures via back facing camera. Front facing camera is ok, but nothing great. It is not as sharp or as clear as the back camera, and when you get used to it, you don't want to use it often.
As for multi-tasking, the Note still holds the crown in that regard. I do say that the newest version of Android made it more cumbersome to place two windows at once. It takes an extra step and is not as smooth as it used to be. This is unfortunate.
Cameras are sharp and great at low light. Detail is overall great but not perfect. You can gain some control via pro mode and disabling HDR (for portraits) and certain scenes or playing with the scene optimizer in some settings and not. If you want to point and click, you can do that, but if you play and learn with the camera, it does some great shots.
Speed of the phone is quick and battery lasts me about two days before needing a full recharge. Mileage will vary and worsen over time of course like any phone or what apps you have running. My usage entails browsing the internet and playing maybe 30 minutes of some games dispersed through the day.

I am more impressed with this phone than I thought I would be. I was very happy & content with my Note 8. Until I ran into some battery issues that could not be resolved & I was given the choice of the Note 9 or a referbished Note 8 at pretty much the same out of pocket expense. I am glad to be able to say "This is a Great over all phone!!!" I would most definitely recommend the Note 9. The new improved camera features, new storage capacity, the longer battery life, the new custom options for the LED case is a nice little touch too for those of us, who like to personalize things. Again just a few of the options that has made me very pleased an happy with my new Note 9

I love the phone. The camera is better than the iPhone camera on my girls 8plus cell. I like everything about the phone from storage to expandable storage with an extra card, to the size, battery life, etc.
I also have hearing loss due to radiaiton to head area and this phone has awesome voice quality. I never have issues understanding conversations on the cell like I did have with other cells before.
The only part which I do not like is the phone's "speaker phone". I have gotten bad feedback by now from family, doctor offices, friends, my child that no one can understand me when I place the call on speakerphone! I can hear very well the people, however the people can not hear me very well back - so it must have a bad quality microphone for the speakerphoen :(

Upgraded from the Galaxy S9 plus, same great camera, just better software tweaks. Alot more stable, doesn't have the laggy issues I had before. A little more real estate and of course the s pen makes it great to use this phone for my work and allows customers to sign contracts and receipts. Price is a little over the top, however I snagged it for less than half the cost at BestBuy during a promo period with trade in. Definitely upgrade if you are looking for a new phone and want latest tech. Not a non star worthy con, however Samsung could boost the camera to atleast 16 or 20mp. Something I hope with their next gen in 2019/2020.

I love all the galaxy series, and now that they improved the sound to stereo with Dolby it sounds amazing, my battery lasted 3 days without the need of charging, the s pen is super useful has so many features that I haven't done discovering them, the screen is one of the best ones! I love that it doesn't have the noch which is somewhat disturbing for me, this phone has a feature smart call which gives you the name of who's calling without having to add extra features to your phone plan or downloading other apps, the camera works great at night I don't even need to turn on the flash for great pictures,

Upgraded from my note 4 to this and couldn’t be happier. I was starting to have issues with my note 4 battery where it would show that there’s 20% battery life left and then would sudden just die. I love that with the note 9, I can get away without having to charge for three days. The pen is so much nicer to write and draw with then the previous. The camera is fantastic!! It has takes photos with amazing detail!! For instance, I’ve taken pictures of my cat and when looking through the photos I feel like she is right there. if you’re looking to upgrade I’d check out this phone.

The battery life on this phone is amazing. I switched back to Android from my iPhone 6S Plus and immediately noticed a difference. I can go through the entire day of mild to heavy use without worrying about having to charge it midway through. Not to mention with USB Type C if you leave it on the charger for only 30 minutes it gives you a considerable amount of battery life. Another great thing about this phone is the storage on this phone. I went for the 128GB model, but there's also a micro SD card slot where the simcard tray is that allows you to upgrade the storage up to a terabyte. The phone takes a bit of practice to get used to the new tricks with both the S-Pen and the OS itself. I wasn't sold on the S-Pen before I bought the phone as every smart phone I've had prior to this never came with a pen, but you'll find that there's a lot of clever ways the S-Pen comes into play whether you use it to take pictures, write notes, send live messages to friends, you can even customize apps the S-Pen will work for, though I have found that some apps are buggy or unresponsive with the S-Pen. Spotify in particular says you can click the button on the pen once to play/pause and twice to switch to the next song, but regardless of how many times you press it doesn't seem to work. Overall this phone is a workhorse for those who are heavy users of their phone.

I purchased this phone and could not believe how awesome the camera is. I was upgrading from the s7. Which actually takes great photos for a phone. But this Note takes almost professional photos, depending on the lighting. The speed of the phone is great as well. I know people complain about the pin/stylus. But i actually find myself using it a lot as I take a lot of group pics and not too many selfies. My ONLY issue would be , the phone is a little on the heavy side. But I think I've gotten used to it.

This was a huge upgrade from my very dated Moto G 1st Gen so I'm bound to be happy with any phone that actually keeps up with modern demands. With that said, I'm loving the crisp, clear screen resolution, the excellent camera, and the many, many layers of features packed into this phone.
However, this is my first experience with Bixby and I'm having a very hard time getting it to respond to all that I want it to do. There are so many layers of permissions and settings to navigate before it can get dialed in. I'm sure I'll get there eventually, but right now I try to run even the most basic of commands and responds by telling me I have to update my permissions to do that.
However, that's a small inconvenience when compared to the storage capacity, battery life, camera, etc which make this such a great phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note S9 is overall a fantastic phone. I expected it to be a bit wider but it's tall and lean, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's fast, has a lot of storage, great display and a good set of features and cameras. My favorite feature is the S pen which can be used to take pictures from a distance by setting your phone up on a solid surface or a tripod/bipod etc. It doesn't get five stars because I expected a 16 megapixel camera (as opposed to 12) because my Galaxy S6 had a 16 megapixel camera. Furthermore, it doesn't do anything more revolutionary compared with previous phones. It does however have a fantastic battery life.

Welcome back to the world of galaxy! I haven't had one since the battery flaws and wanted to wait until they really had things worked out. It was worth the wait. The camera is amazing! Easy to use and with the "pen" working as a remote now, that is just a bonus. Fast processing, loads of storage with option to add up to 1T more, what is not to love about this phone. It really is a computer in your pocket, but with less hassle.

A good phone. I work as a executive assistant, and I use it to take notes when talking to my VP in person, over my work phone, and at general meetings when I have forgotten my notepad.
The phone is strong. I have smacked it, dropped it, and the most I have is a scratch on a corner. I no longer have a screen protector and it's landed face down. Still no cracks. However, the pen will sometimes pop out after landing so keep an eye out for that. With all that, I do not suggest dropping it from a building. The screen probably is not THAT strong. :)
I have screen burn (Pictured - YouTube window box) but that's par for the course and doesn't impact my viewing of games and other media. I tried using an app to fix it per a suggestion from online but it didn't/doesn't work. It's a little over three years old and the battery doesn't last as long so I will get that replaced (make sure to call ahead because they may have to order the battery. I was quoted about $70 for parts and labor).
Low light pictures can be a problem. I am not the type that takes a ton of pictures, so it could just be a problem of not investing in understanding it's camera settings. However, when I took a sunrise photo from a high floor, it captured the oranges and yellows over Mt. Hood brilliantly.
The stylus camera controls can be a bit tricky (I also have longer nails) because it's so thin and the button is flush with the casing. Just practice a little and you'll have a great remote for taking pictures.
Given it's age, on a rare occasion, it gets finnicky and doesn't respond to my touch as quickly, sometimes programs don't load instantaneously, but overall I have no intention of getting rid of it. It's almost a senior citizen in phone years.

This is one amazing phone! Camera has so many options. The new pen has many different features I cannot wait to explore. The resolution of the screen is picture perfect. And speed? Super fast! Click...there...click again...there...launch an app...there. :)
So happy with all of the features. I would recommend a Samsung Galaxy to iPhone users...You have no idea what you are missing!

I absolutely love this phone, so much better than my note edge. I have no complaints,as long as Samsung keeps sending out updates to this model longer than 2 yrs after I bought the phone. It has so many amazing features: longer battery, way better camera, better pen, more ways to control how phone functions and love that it still has easy access edge commands/apps!!
