The Note 9 is every bit as powerful and beautiful as people say. The hardware is fast, and the screen absolutely stunning. But in my opinion what really sets the Note 9 apart from all other phones (Including the S9 plus) is its all day battery and S pen. Samsung's S pen supports 4096 levels of pressure, and using it with the Samsung Notes app or Microsoft OneNote makes the Note 9 great for taking notes for school or work or making lists. The Android Battery Usage Meter estimates that with a 100% charge I can expect 26 to 28 hours of battery life, and this is in close agreement to what I actually experience most days. Being able to use the Note 9 all day at work without having to carry around a charger is absolutely great!

Can’t complain about this phone. Love the large screen the stylus and everything else. Cameras are good as well. Along with battery life you will enjoy it for days.

I've owned an iPhone for years but decided to switch to Android. I'm very happy so far....I like that I am able to customize the operating system to my liking. The phone itself is great. I've found it easy to use, but I've watched a few YouTube tutorials that have been helpful. I love the S Pen! I use it to write to do lists and I'm sure I'll find other uses. The camera is great. Watching videos and listening to music is overall better than my experience on the iPhone.

I had a Note 5 and loved it! Then I got impatient and went after 3 years to an S8 and regretted it. Now I'm returning back to the Note 9 and the upgrades are incredible! Between the screen, the hyper fast processing, and the low bluetooth pen, this phone is awesome! Lightning quick at everything and the battery is for real. It's now been a week and I'll go a whole day easy and it goes down to 50-60%, depending on my usage! I love it! Now I dont have to buy a mophie battery case Haha! Also, the build on this phone is so solid. My S8 and that whole line of phones felt a little flimsy, but this one feels like it could take a beating and be fine. I wouldn't recommend beating it, but its comforting to have your phone feel like it's that tough! With all this to say, get the phone if you're ready for an upgrade! Its completely worth it!

I enjoy using the s pen that comes in the phone, i really havent used it that much though. I like the clarity of the photos, everyone in my family always asks me to use my phone for pictures all the time. Battery life lasts a long time at first and slowly declines. Probably due to my overusage until it dies and then using it while it charges all the time. Always a super fast phone, not buggy at all. I would buy again, i just wish they didn't have glass all over it, im always paranoid and keep it in its case to avoid cracking it all over like i did with my s8 when i took it out of its case. Its a bit on the thick side of phones but thats the way i like them.

I initially bought this for the battery increase. I am a former note 8 user, and I would not have bought this at full price if it wasn't for me getting the note 8 for nearly free and using it as a trade-in to get the $450 discount. Surprisingly, I got a little more than just a battery increase. Better camera, stereo speakers(louder, crisper), and super fast everything! That facial recognition is actually efficient. If you are a note 8 owner, I would suggest waiting for the next gen, just because it is so incremental. But if you're set on buying it, you won't be disappointed. I think the best value price point would be around $600-$700, for the extreme no regrets feeling.

Excellent phone! Battery lasts for a couple days with moderate use. High quality video and pictures. Screen is massive. S-pen adds tons of additional capabilities. Love the design as well!

Purchased this phone because the motherboard on my Pixel crapped out. Wasn't in love with any current phones on the market but didn't want to spend the $350 for a new motherboard (see motherboard issues on Pixels) so I ended up with a new phone. I chose the Note9 over others because (in no particular order): 1. I have a Tab S4 that I really love and wanted the S Pen (love the "remote" capabilities with the pen) 2. Could buy unlocked version 3. Offered in silver (not a fan of loud colors or black) 4. Expandable memory 5. Offered in 128GB 6. 6GB RAM Cons: It's a little too big for me personally, but hardware was important since I want this phone to last me a long time. Noticing it can be slow compared to Pixel. Don't care for Bixby and remapping to Google Assistant/Now is cumbersome. Missing unlimited storage with Google Photos. I'm definitely salty with Google, but trust Samsung phones a lot more.

Fast charge gets 5% to 100% in about 1.5 hours. Samsung pay that works almost EVERYWHERE where credit cards are accepted. Heart rate, blood oxygen level and stress sensors. Brilliant cameras. S-pen is great for on-screen writing and acts as remote for camera, PowerPoint presentation and other. Lots of storage place. Totally worth investment.

This phone is very fast, the battery lasts me 2 days of use or more, and the camera is the best for low light shots I've seen. Plus, gotta love having a pen.

Pretty much does what it says it does. I have not used all the features yet but the new pen is useful such as taking a photo. It is not as large as I thought it would be as its just a tad larger than the S9 plus I had previously. Weight wise, overall do not notice but when it is in my front pocket for a few hours I notice. There have been a few updates. And this is where the 4 stars come in. It seems that it gets confused with fingerprint and Samsung pass autofil which leads to me having to sign in on certain apps the old fashion way. It never did this with my other Samsung phones. It is annoying for me. I love how the fingerprint censor is below the camera, that was what I was waiting for otherwise I was set to get the Note 8. Photo's as always are fab. Much better than the iphone which the rest of my family have!

I switched from iPhone to this note9 after several years. The iPhone was losing reception over and over and I just got fed up even after trying iPhone XS and XR, but switching over gave me the best services so it was a phone issue. Samsung has the best of everything in this phone and I can still use wired headphones when my Bluetooth ones are charging. Just simply put, it has industry’s leading tech in this phone and getting it during thanksgiving was like 30% off original price. Great deals always are found at Best Buy if you just wait for it long enough.

Beautiful screen, tons of real estate especially when you max the resolution and so far battery has lasted all day with continuous heavy use without having to charge during the day. Plenty of customizing options as the main selling point for Samsung over Apple. The pen is amazing and once u learn how to utilize it you will be using technology miles ahead of Apple ppl. So many YouTube videos to reach u tips and tricks. This is the phone to get for ppl who enjoy technology and want to spend time to learn and maximize those features.

I left the iPhone world about 3 months ago for a Samsung J-7. I really enjoyed certain Android features over IOS. So, I decided to upgrade to the Note 9. This phone does everything! And the S pen is the icing on the cake. I love being able to jot down notes on the screen and saving them in my notes. I love taking selfies with the phone in one hand, and snapping the pic with the S pen in the other. I chose this model over the newer S10, because it has a s pen and is slightly cheaper. So far, I haven't seen a downside.

This is my first Galaxy Note phone. I've always wanted one & recently purchased it with $200 off the original price. There's plenty of great reviews & valuable information on this phone, so I'll let my words be few. It is a great phone, has a great camera and I love using the pen with the phone. I'm still learning all the features, in's & out's. I gave it a 4 star or maybe a 4.5 star because the facial recognition only works half the time & I have to keep putting in my password. Sometimes in the midst of putting it in, then it seems to recognize me. The speakers vibrate as well depending on the volume & the type of music that is played. Almost is if they're old speakers that are getting worn out. Other than that, everything about the phone is awesome.
