This phone has been created for Samsung's benefit. Your needs and desires as the owner and customer are not their concern. Samsung will let you know what the button functions will be. They will force their updates. The apps they want on your phone are the apps you will see forever. All that cpu power will be directed to hidden background functions designed to promote Samsung's corporate interest. It is not for you. This phone is Samsung's device and although you have paid for it, they own it. Forever. You will eventually agree. You have paid for their device but will never be yours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I had an unlocked Note8 but was unable to do Wi-Fi calling. I was hoping to get that with the Note9 but it also does not have WiFi calling as an option. I am very disappointed in Samsung for blocking this feature.
