My note 8 had the ability to change the message background the note 9 does not. I'm sure there are other settings that were removed but that is one I used most. The phone is fast no lag at all. It really boils down to hoping to get a good unit. My 128gb had glitches like no other. Wish Samsung would launch all colors at once but would recommend if you want the latest.

Lots of storage and battery life lasts for 24 hours without charging playing music for at least 8 hr on that charge. Great camera so far so good.

I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Note series since 2012. I always do a comparison between the latest offerings before I commit to such an expensive device and once again the Note 9 won out over all competitors. When I purchased it BB had the same price as Amazon so I could get it locally. I was looking for much more than just a phone as I also want to listen to music without an ipod plus take pictures. This unit offers fantastic audio via the 3.5mm headphone jack and even has a graphic equalizer built in so I can tailor my sound to my liking. The Samsung music player accesses my iTunes tracks just fine so all I do is just copy over the albums I want to listen to. Having 512gb of onboard storage is great for not having to worry about running out of space plus having a microsd slot allows me to add even more storage for a combined total of 1tb. Pictures look great and are much better than with my last Note. The power consumption is something that I've only dreamed about up until now. With my phone on all day doing the things that I normally do I end up around 80% battery. If I listen to a lot of music and have more face time then it will drop down to around 75%. The wireless charging works great even with a protective case around it ( I use the Samsung unit) and charging with a cable gets you quickcharge 3 speeds. As far as I'm concerned there's no other phone for me except the Note series from Samsung. The phone is slick and hard to grip so having a case around it is a must unless you want to drop it and risk breaking it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Unlocked 512GB Phoneis an Absolute Great Purchase that Everyone should consider. With 512GB of Internal Storage, You have Plenty of Storage to be able to have All of Your Files Available at All times even if You don't have a signal which some phones rely on You using and Purchasing Cloud Storage. Cloud Storage is a Great thing when You HAVE a signal, but NOT when You don't. For people who like to use their phone to Electronically Pay for their items, this phone has 3 different Technologies built into the phone where others either have just 1 or None. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a Stylus that Now can be used as a Shutter Button to take Pictures or as a remote button to be used for some Apps when You have them open and are using them. I currently have the Blue Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Unlocked 512GB Phone with the Yellow Stylus. I would have given the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Unlocked 512GB a 5 Star Rating IF Samsung would have made the Black Version Available here in the United States which is MY Preference. The Color is just a tiny gripe of Mine, but it's Your choice about the Blue or Purple Samsung Galaxy Note 9 whether You choose a Carrier Branded phone with Uninstallable Bloatware or the Unlocked version. If the High Price of the 512GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is too much for You, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB will be a cheaper option.

The Best Samsung Note phone to date, extremely fast, great camera amd so many extras, been a Note user since the Note 2. Long lasting battery, you will not be disappointed in this great phone.

Seriously! The battery life is phenomenal and the camera is outstanding. It is super fast and has crazy amounts of storage capacity. A truly amazing phone.!

The Note 9 512 GB has been a huge upgrade from the Galaxy S4 I had, much better camera, more amenities. Doesn't do some of what I loved about the S4. Like the ease of listening to Audible and being able to pause/play in one swipe. The Note 9, you have to double tap the always on screen to get to the lock screen, then either open the app again or use the multi screen window to get to it to pause/play. There are tons of great things, like the speed of the apps, but there are places i used to be able to get service, but now I dont. That is really annoying and defied the whole reason for a smartphone. To be able to use wherever you are. But maybe im too critical and shouldn't be so picky, but if you are going to pay $1249 for a phone, shouldn't you get perfect service?

Love the battery life, storage, and speed. No need to remove programs. No hesistation downloading to phone. Now use my phone more than my tablet.

What a terrific phone,samsung did,this is truely a powerhouse of a phone ,outbeats iphone in a min,its faster processor and sharp super clear picture in this,makes this phone look amazing,it has many many features,like s-pen,very useful from writing to coloring to just browse,has tons if gb more than any phone out there,no worries on space in this baby,get this and it will amaze you how great this phone is.

Having had this phone for 18 months now. This phone does everything I need it to and more. I got this factory unlocked so that I that I could switched carriers if need be. I love that the stylus is also a the camera remote. The 512GB comes in handy when it comes to storage. I am still in awe of this phone after all this time an still haven't finished finding all the features. The only problem with the phone is the location of the fingerprint sensor.

This is by far the best phone I have ever owned not because its newer and more powerful which a new phone would obviously be, but the overall design, the screensize being big enough for proper use but not too bug where i cant hold it in my hand. The S pen is awesome. I use it way more than i thought I would. I routinely write quick notes and draw over images for quick ideas. I never need to recharge it again within a day.

This is everything I needed in order to make up for the shortcoming of the sun 1. 512gb storage is more than enough to not have to delete items. 2. 8gb of ram makes sure when I reopen apps it doesn't stutter. 3. Faster processor with cooling ensures the phone doesn't over heat. I do miss 1. No double tapping home key to open camera 2. Hard to properly protect phone in case

Love the pen feature. Lots of memory. Camera can shoot in raw.

What else can I say. 500 plus gigs of memory. Battery life is unreal I charge it once a day go throughout my day playing games on my phone, watching movies, calling, texting and ect and about 17hrs later I still have 30 to 25 percent average battery life. This phone will not disappoint at all! It's truly a powerhouse of a phone and the best in the market!

I have been a Note owner for years due to the need for a multitasking phablet that can be used for work or play. This phone fills every need and more! Camera is amazing, blazing fast, s-pen, but the icing is the storage.....1 TB in my pocket!!! Absalute win! Just one con, I miss the IR blaster...guess you can't have everything.

This is the best cellphone that I've owned. Everything works well. It has a great camera, lots of internal storage and good battery life.

Crazy fast. Love the S-Pen. Used my old Verizon Sim. Please note right now Wifi Calling doesn't work but it will get an update (if going by the S9 version). No Carrier bloatware. Battery life good. Screen awesome. Speakers sound great but not front facing (but does have Dolby Atmos).

I upgraded from the S9 which is not a huge leap but the size of the screen is a little bigger and the best feature is the battery. I know get 8-12 hours of contact use versus 3-4 hours of constant use from the S9. This is a good phone but is pricey. I think Samsung and Apple are going to have to come up with something a little more innovative to keep us upgrading our phone. I think I will hold on to this one for at least a couple of years and that is unusual for me to do.

Enough Ram to run all the applications you want without having slow downs. Plenty of space with 512G on board and can upgrade up to 1 Terabyte. With these features plus the most beautiful screen and camera out there how can you go wrong?
