Some big improvements over my Note 3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Internet access is more than twice as fast. I purchased the unlocked version. I was able to set it up as a wifi hotspot and could get over 50Mbs on my PC when I did speed tests. The camera is very good in low light. The Samsung Email App did not work the same way as it did on my Note 3. I ended up changing to the Gmail App and ended up deleting a bunch of email from the server I didn’t intend to delete. I have it setup the way I want it now and it works fine. Be careful setting up your email. Not a big fan of the curved screen edge. It is a slippery little sucker which you will realize the first time you pick it up.

Too hard to answer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my Note 3, but this one, is so hard to swipe to dismiss or answer a call. I don't care for the phone as much, I have NEVER and I mean NEVER accidentally dialed anyone with my old phone, this one does it a lot! I hate this about this phone, I would not recommend it for that purpose. Most of the features are ok, but it is different than my old phone, but I loved it!!!

Best Smart Phone I've ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only knock is the price, but you get what you pay for. I have plenty of space for apps, photos, and videos, and the battery lasts twice as long or more than the battery on my prior phone, an S7 Edge, did.

Battery lasts 2 days.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just another progressively better phone from Samsung. Pretty much everything is a slight improvement over the previous model. (Except for the slightly larger side bezels, which aren't really noticeable after the first impression). The only thing Samsung needs to bring back is the ability to turn off the Bixby launch from the button, or at least give the ability to change it to triple click. The push to talk functionality is great, and Bixby is a good assistant, I would just like to have the option of not turning it on unintentionally.

One of the best Android phones / Matches iOS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I will say this phone is "Good". I'm coming from iOS and coming from the "Apple Ecosystem" I do not recommend this phone to anyone who already uses Apple products. The build quality will match the iPhone but overall the software is a let down. While this phone is fast the overall UI isn't great and I find annoyances with Android and Samsungs software. I do not like that I have 2 of every app. This phone comes with 2 virtual assistants (Bixby and Google Assistant), 2 photo apps, 2 messaging apps, etc. If you're coming from iOS I would recommend a Pixel 3 XL or the new iPhones.

I just did like curved edges of Note 9
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just did not like the curved edges of Note 9, also I think the Bixby button is completely useless, and I wish if this button could be re-purposed so I can use it for other things that I can configure based on my needs and preference

Top End Note 9 - Exceeds All Expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The largest Note 9 available with extreme speeds and styling from your pocket. The cameras - Yes Plural are AMAZING quality both Day & Night. Samsung's Auto exposure allows you to have confidence that you photos will come out premium quality no matter if there is action shots or evening shots by a fire. The speed of the processors and largest memory available from a phone exceeds all expectations for a high-end performance desktop.

Complete Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A complete phone that includes features and accessories that other manufacturers leave out. I enjoy that the phone has stereo speakers are loud and better than a mono speaker. It still has a headphone jack and expandable storage. The screen is incredible. Data speeds seem to be faster on this phone compared to others. The 4000mah battery is great and gives me about a day and a half of moderate use. Using the S Pen as a remote for media and camera is a nice feature. In terms of accessories, the Samsung does not charge extra and includes fast charger, headphones and OTG adapter. The only downside to the phone are the iris scanner and fingerprint reader are a little slow to activate. Otherwise, the phone can handle any tasks that I need.

This phone is fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to use Samsung phones but when they went to the curved edge screen I didn't want to get one due to my job and the fact that the OtterBox cases didn't have the screen protector. So I went with a Motorola z2 force. Well I broke my phone and had to get a new one. So I went back to Samsung and I will never leave again. This phone is so fast and I don't think I will ever run out of memory. My only complaint is that the phone is a little heavy compared to my Moto z2. Overall this is the best phone I have ever had.

Great purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially wanted to get the iPhone XS or the iPhone max. But the starting price was $1,000 for a 64gb and seemed ridiculous for 64gb. I wanted a better deal. I saw this phone on black Friday sale. I got for a great price and saved a good 2-300 compared to the higher end iPhone. This phone has many many features. It's very impressive and the camera is amazing. I've been a iPhone guy for a good 8 years but the transition was pretty smooth. I'm glad I switched.

Wowing technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Migrating to the Android platform after years on the iOS platform (because of work technology), and Samsung has delivered more than Apple has. The only hassle was I had to get the lavender phone in order to get the 512GB model as the Blue was not available...but it will always be in a protective case, and only the S-Pen will reveal its colour

The Device of the FUTURE (until the next one, lol)
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is STILL chugging along with first - day performance. Definitely the overall best handset I've had, and will keep me focused on the Note line when it becomes time for an upgrade. With 8g of ram and the Octacore processor in this badboy, I'm probably good for a while yet. This thing automatically causes iDevices to suffer from intimidation and envy.
