Switching from the IPhone 4S was a hard choice, but I was tired of the very small screen and memory capacity. The camera on the Galaxy S5 alone was worth the switch however. A few things I wish were the same, such as a built-in flashlight app, but overall, I am thrilled with the quality and functionality of the Galaxy.

I would recommend this phone to anyone who loves taking pictures because the quality is great. If you use you phone a lot throughout the day you will be impressed with the battery life of this phone. I mainly usemail my phone for texting and checking emails but also usenjoy it to surf the Web and look up sporting info on the apps I have downloaded. Great for listening to music too.

This phone is great except for one thing, it randomly freezes and restarts. It's not the os because it happened with Kit Kat and Lollipop so it must be the hardware. I don't want to lose everything I have put back so I still have it happening.

Picked up the S5 on release day to replace my RAZR Maxx. I like the larger screen. Battery life is about the same since I'm not a heavy user and I have a Network Extender in the house. I prefer dark, solid color wallpapers for easy readability on the screen. Not much choice here. Also, not as many stock ringtones that are very unique. These can be taken care of with some searching. Camera is very good but has more options than almost anyone would need. Processor speed in running the apps is noticeably better. Very pleased with the upgrade. I'm on Verizon.

I upgraded from the s4 to the s5. These phones are very similar in looks but the s5 is much faster than my old s4.

The phone works great. Extremely user friendly. Would definitely recommend.

For an older non computer generation person; this device is not only amazing with what it can do but fairly easy for me to learn and use. I then ran out and bought my wife one also. Senior citizens CAN use the latest version of a cell phone without feeling overwhelmed.

This phone is packed with awesome features that I have not even begun to go through. From the security of gaining access to the UI to all of the various camera modes the S5 is definitely an upgrade from any Galaxy version. The 5.1 inch screen featuring an awesome sharp picture for videos, photos, movies, and surfing can allow any smartphone user to fall inlove with this device. I am really enjoying the 16 MegaPixel Camera. I love all the beautiful pics I am taking with it!

I went back and forth between deciding between the iPhone 5s and the S5 and after using the iPhone 5s for a week I decided to go with the Samsung S5 with Verizon and have been happy with the quality and ease of use. The Milk music app has been my favorite due to the variety of genres it offers. If you get the flip case, I recommend getting the clip from Amazon (not available from Best Buy otherwise I would of bought it there) because the flip case tends to not stay closed.

I've had this phone about a month, great phone but I use the ultra power save mode other wise battery dies fast. Lots of great features and battery charges faster than any phone I've ever had!

Bigger screen for easier access and viewing. Faster Mobil download speed.

I love this phone! Speakerphone with an Otterbox Case is lacking quality. One of the features I was looking forward to was the S Fitness App, which is okay, but I ended up buying a Jawbone UP24 bracelet because it does more than the app. I would recommend this phone to anyone! I am a huge Samsung fan since the S3 and now they are increasing my brand loyalty with the S5!

I finally made the leap to an android phone from the blackberry that I've used and replaced for years, and while I was skeptical about the loss of a physical keyboard, the adjustment has been almost painless. There is a big difference in improved functionality, and some new things to learn...so I recommend the videos online and the in-store training that Samsung sponsors. The color of the phone is really nice too -- love the blue only available at Best Buy!

I like everything about this phone. It is the perfect size. And just like any new phone with new features like the fingerprint scanner just have to take a little time to get used to how it works. Veey fast and multi tasks well. The battery life is better then my note 2 was. The camera works great and the ability to shoot 4k video is awesome. The only thing I would change, which is not samsung's fault, (it's Verizon's fault) is to have the download booster enabled.

I bought this phone for my husband on Thanksgiving. He loves it, Takes much better pics than his old Samsung.

overall im pretty satisfied with the phone, wish it came with more tips of things the phone is capable of doing.

So far this phone has been exceeding my expectations in every way. Super fast and great screen. The pictures that it takes look really great. The only possible issue I see in the future is that in order to keep it water proof there is a flimsy cover that goes over the USB port. I really don't see that lasting very long as it's held on by a small piece of plastic connected to the body of the phone. Other than that, I slapped on a spigen case and it looks great!

Had s3, could never go back. love fitness software as it is fun to set goals and see how much you walk and bike. Fingerprint scanner worthless and heart monitor questionable. The good outwieghs the bad and I did not return. Get a screen cover first thing as it is not as scratch resistant as an s3 for sure. I had an s3 for 2 years and in 2 weeks there are 100 more fine scratches on the s5 and none on s3. I have my own business and email like crazy and send pics it is very fast. you can get twice as much done as with an s3 in half the time.
