So glad I went with the Samsung brand for my 1st smart phone. Easy to use and love the screen. So glad I purchased it from Best Buy. The salesperson that rung my purchase was awesome. Very knowable and friendly. The best part of my experience was the Samsung rep. He was very helpful in all his knowledge in helping me make this decision to up grade to a smart phone from a flip phone. I am so glad my friend who purchased her Samsung S4 phone from Best Buy encouraged me to purchase mine there also. Way better customer service than at the Verizon store. And I was not lead to make a purchase that I was not comfortable with. The Samsung rep also helped to show me after I purchased the phone some features etc. Not only did he take the time before my purchase was made but after my purchase. I hope to have this phone for awhile but when I need to make another phone purchase I am definitely coming back to Best Buy to do so. Excellent customer service from the person who rung up my purchases and from the Samsung rep. THANKS!!!!

I upgraded to the GS5 from a GS3 and I'm impressed with the improvements. The camera is awesome with many new and different effects that I'm just starting to play with. The phone is fast opening or switching between apps and it makes phone calls too! The battery life is very good, I'm able to get through a whole day with battery life to spare. I can almost get through 2 days without a charge. The best thing that has happened with my new phone happened while at a baseball game, I was taking a picture of the batter and zooming in when the person sitting next to me said "wow, look at that picture from your phone, what kind of phone is that?" And I answered "its the Samsung Galaxy S5, its the next great thing." he said that his iPhone didn't take pictures that nice and my answer was yes I know. Enough said, it's a great phone go get one.

I made the switch to Android for the first time with the S5, getting rid of my beloved Windows Phone. The app selection is just too much to pass up on Google Play. The S5 has some pretty cool and convenient features like the fingerprint scanner and the heart rate monitor, to go along with fast hardware, beautiful screen, and generally good battery considering all that you can do with this smartphone. I couldn't pass the deal up when Best Buy offered the S5 for just $49.99 with a 2 year activation.

Going from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the S5 was a huge improvement for the battery life. We just cannot believe the difference. The phone has a lot of bells and whistles that many will like and the Easy Settings button is great. The only issue is the way you have to swipe to answer the phone. I've missed several calls because it is very hard to get it to work. It shows to swipe straight across but you don't actually do that, you have to swipe up a little and if it isn't done exactly, you miss a call.

New Smart phone user here. In January I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S5. Very user friendly!!! The camera takes really good photos. Such good photos that I rarely use my digital SLR camera anymore. I have joined the world of the instant take & post your picture!!!! I took some really close up shots of butterflies. I cropped them & printed them out 8X10. The quality was superb. I bet it would hold up printing poster size. The only complaint is the delay from when I touch to take the picture and when it actually sounds/takes the picture. Very changeling when taking pictures of kids. Missed a few great shots because of this delay. Hope Samsung fixes the camera shutter delay on their future phones.

My husband really surprised me when he bought me this for Christmas. I've been an iPhone user forever. My kids all have a Samsung so he figured I should try it out also- love it! Will never go back. Battery life is wonderful, size is perfect, clarity of graphics is great....I sent my husband a text message today reminding him of how much I love my new phone!

I've only had the Samsung for a few weeks, and I'm still learning how to use it, but overall I am extremely pleased so far. I was very worried about learning how to use the smart phone, since it was an upgrade from my old flip phone. But it was easy learning how it works, and so much easier to send text messages. Plus the camera works great, too !

I thought I loved my Samsung S3... but the S5 is amazing. It is fast and reliable. The transition from the S3 to the S5 was easy. At first the size seemed to big, But I realized that it was easier to see everything. My family loves it so much, we have 4 of them on our plan!

Love my new G5 phone. So many great enhancements over the G3 (which was also a great phone). Love the Health features, very fast, and battery life is tremendously improved. I can go 3 days without charging compared to half a day with the G3. Size is slightly larger which is great for viewing web pages, emails, photos, etc. The camera is equivalent to my Olympus digital camera. You cannot go wrong with this phone.

Love the size, and quickness. Easy to use and find where things are located fast with downloads.

This is s great phone. I had the s3 before I upgraded, and love the choice. It is very easy to use (especially coming from a 3) The speed is good also. It's size is perfect because it still fits in most of my pockets. I am a Samsung lover anyway.

The screen is crisp, the sound is great. It has more features than I was expecting. It is even a universal TV remote. Waterproof is great when you get stuck in the rain. Best phone I've ever had.

THE EASE OF USE. WOULD BE GREAT FOR SOMEONE GETTING THEIR FIRST SMARTPHONE. I WAS USING THE SAMSUNG SKYROCKET II . THIS IS AN EXCELLENT UPGRADE. I'VE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS PHONE TO NUMBER OF FRIEND. THEIR ARE SO MANY APPLICATIONS. AVAILABLE.

I had the Galaxy 3 and limped along waiting for the perfect time for the 5 and so I've only had this phone for a few weeks. So far, everything has been great. I had to google a couple of settings that changed where the "home" button took you to but since I changed it back, its stayed there. Just got an ATT update yesterday and changed a few things but so far, everything works very well. The camera is a little different and working with some settings there but its all good. Glad for the upgrade and didn't want the 6... I still like to have a spare battery or at least have that as an option.

I really enjoy using this phone. The camera is the best that I have used on a phone. This phone handles multi tasking with ease. It is also very easy to use. The call sound quality is great. I bought one for each person in my household.

Great photo quality and very, very easy to use. The applications also very handy and easy to maneuver back and forth between apps.

This is a really snappy phone. It has space for memory expansion, it's fast and the display is beautiful. Only thing I am not too fond of is the camera. It takes longer to take the picture and some movement makes the pictures blurry. When pictures come out right though they are amazing.
