I'm enjoying the SG5 Sport!!! Looks good(red), runs smoothly, when there's good service... want the GS6 when it comes out without having to do an upgrade. As a long time customer should be attainable and affordable for 10yr customers...

This is a great phone - very durable, I love that no case is needed (although I still use one, but it took a hard fall to concrete and did not break - merely a small scrape of paint). The one thing I hate about Samsungs though is all of the pre-loaded apps that comes on the phone. I wish you had the option to start with a blank slate and only add what you want. So much wasted memory with stuff I'll never use - but Google and Sprint do the same thing, so it seems to just be the way the industry is going. Overall a good phone, fast processor, decent battery life, and great camera.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy II to a Samsung Galaxy 5 Sport (red), and I have enjoyed it and been productive with it from day 1. It is also rugged, (dropped 3 times and not even a scratch), it has a titanium post where you plug in the charger and it charges the phone so much quicker than my past phones. The battery life is very impressive, considering how many apps I am running with my screen on the brightest possible setting at all times. I'm glad they stayed with the standard type of charger plugin too, as opposed to the Samsung Galaxy 5 regular phone. This phone is the first phone out of 20 previous phones that has exceeded all my expectations. I love showing it off to people with regular Galaxy 5 phones because I believe it to be a superior phone. And it is Red. Thanks Samsung!

I wanted the Samsung Sport because it is heavier duty. I like that feature, but I don't like the charging outlet cover. It's very difficult to hold out of the way when trying to plug in the charging cord. It takes good quality pictures, but transferring them to messages is more complicated than my last Samsung. Overall, I'm happy with the phone.

I have been an HTC user for years, this is my first Samsung device. That being said, all in all, it is a good phone. There were a couple of hiccups due to some of the default settings on the phone, like setting the Auto-Correct, that slowed down the process, but once figured out it was good to go. While there are a few HTC widgets that I miss, I was able to find suitable free replacements that work. Battery life is pretty good with my average usage I get about 1.5 days on a charge. Picture / Camera quality is excellent and some of the camera effects are great as well.

I bought this for my son and it is his first phone. It is durable and easy to use with a great camera and large screen.

Solid feeling phone fairly easy to use one handed. Battery life seems good so far, only had it a week. Still learning the system as I had an Iphone before. It has good features and is easy to change the settings (once you find where to set them). Dump the bloatware and make sure a lot of un-needed apps are turned off and the battery lasts a lot longer. the screen is bright and clear plus the size makes everything easy to see. Really liking this phone so far.

I love my RED Samsung Galaxy 5 Sport phone! The screen size is perfect. I'm now able to receive my email and manage my calendar without having to go through a browser. The fitness features (pedometer and heart rate monitor) allow me to carry it in my pocket instead of a tiny clip-on pedometer. The unit is sturdy enough that I don't need an external case.

I love Samsung products! This phone does the most. I've had it for over a month and I'm still learning new features. The pics are great. The battery life is awesome. The apps that are already on the phone are very helpful. I love my Samsung S5 Sport.

This is the new Galaxy 5 Sport and I love it!! I traded up from a III and it is so much faster! The camera is excellent and the color is so vibrant! (Blue) The only thing I don't like is the ability to purchase a case. These are a different size than the regular S5 phones so I have to hunt for a case. I guess it is bc it is supposed to be shatter resistant. Anyway, good buy!

The red/maroon color excites me. The finish provides better handling than the regular S5. However I have noticed: 1. Switching and/or dead Bluetooth may cause phone to stop receiving calls & text. I have experienced this 3 times. I am currently testing to pinpoint exactly what happens to cause this but it is most certainly related to Bluetooth. Restarting device will allow receipt of missed calls/text. 2. 25-45% signal degradation versus my S3 at the same location. 3. Screenshot swipe gesture does not work on Sport or regular S5. Only simultaneous pressing off power & home buttons currently activates screenshot capture. Hopefully these issues will be corrected with lollipop.

Another great Android. I like the strong, durable back of the phone -- built in cover. The cost was reasonable and a great deal for the quality, size and appearance. The screen size is larger than most which is helpful when reading texts. The battery lasts longer than many. I require a charge every three days instead of one.

Phone has worked great. Awesome storage when combined with sandisk Extreem Pro 64G. Have had no problems with it for 2 months. Battery life is better than the S 3. It does have a bulkier feel with it’s squared edges.

Like the speed of the phone, the price we bought the phone for, the large screen. The Sport 5 needs more accessories such as phone covers, holders etc. Switched plans with Sprint and not sure if we are happy with that change but the customer service at Best Buy was good.

I just recently upgraded from a Samsung S3. The color and clarity on screen is much better. The camera has better resolution and the functionality of everything has improved. The one area that could still use improvement is where WiFi is weak or inconsistent. The phone battles constantly to figure out if it should go 3G/4G or operate via WiFi. This can interrupt any online activities and the phone will not proceed. When this happens I just turn off WiFi and wait for the phone to switch to 3G/4G. This inconvenience is not enough to avoid purchasing this phone but you should be aware that it happens.

This phone is very easy to use and understand. It takes great pictures has great speed and clear calling. I LOVE this phone. I upgraded from the galaxy s3 and dont regret it for a second!!

Love the durability of this phone along with the great camera, so much better than my S3

I purchased this phone (and one for my wife) after dropping my old phone and figured I'd upgrade it instead of paying the co-pay for a damaged phone. The clarity (pixels) is very nice and the extra protection for accidental drops is great; my wife has dropped her phone twice now and has not cracked. The sound is ok, just wish it had two sound outputs for when streaming Netflix so that the sound can come from two sides instead of one.
