Hopefully a long term phone choice.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally upgraded from my trouble free Galaxy S5 I had for over 5 years. I hope to have as many trouble free years with the 128gb Galaxy S20 FE. So far, it is much more powerful with faster everything. Setup was time consuming but easy. The screen can be a little finicky where you try to touch requiring a few taps. Hopefully due to the factory screen protector. I'm waiting on a good, durable case with built in screen protector like my S5 OtterBox defender to be released. I use Google voice, keyboard, text to speech, etc rather than Bixby. I like the camera 4k ability. So a proper micro extreme card is needed to be able to utilize the better formats. They are cheap now at 64gb and 128gb sizes. The 128gb S20 FE has 6gb of ram. The more expensive 256gb has 8gb of ram. I don't game so 6gb of ram is plenty fast for me. Gamers look at the 256gb w/8gb ram. Which is laptop ram. There is more bloatware, from Samsung like AR apps, and ATT(my carrier), that can't be removed or disabled. So with minimal downloaded apps of my own I am left with 35+ gb of internal memory being used after disabling what I could out of 128 gb. A lot more than my old S5 which had only 32 gb of internal space and 4 gb free for years. The S20 FE also uses 3-3.5 gb of ram always out of 6 gb at all times. That's why for gaming get the 8 gb ram version or it'll slow down and get hot likely. I notice zero warmth never gaming just surfing, reading and watching videos. Videos load super quick. Look fantastic. Even Google maps loads in a second or two where as my S5 struggled to load Google maps. Hopefully I get 5 years out of this phone when I can get an OtterBox defender case to properly protect it. It is supposed to be water resistant like my S5. Just wish phone's had removable batteries still. I recommend this powerful phone to anyone who needs a new phone and won't spend $1k + on a cell phone like me. So many great phone's $600 and below out now that $1k phones are just stupid.

Good Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is really good for it's sale price. The camera takes great pictures without effort. The phone is fast and smooth. Once I got the phone setup the way I wanted, it's a lot better than my old phone. The minor downsides are that the under screen thumbprint reader isn't as good as an actual one and some of the Samsung apps are just bloatware and I would like to put Google Home as a home page but you can only use Samsung's version of that, so I just disabled it. Overall I wouldn't choose a different phone.

Decent Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S8. Love that I can still charge wirelessly. Screen is a nice size. Takes pretty good photos, especially compared to my previous phone. Charge lasts all day at this point. Works for what I need, which is mostly basic stuff.

Okay for price, lacks higher end camera...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good: The 120Hz QHD+ display (although you cannot use both at the same time) feels very smooth to use, the specs are great so you are unlikely to experience any noticeable lag when doing anything on the phone (although if you don't live in China, South Korea, Japan, or the USA you will get an inferior Exynos processor instead of a Snapdragon), and the software offers many useful features, such as Bixby, a talking assitant, and upday, a curated news feed. The camera is good, but not exceptionally so - we'll get to that in a bit. The bad: Contrary to the phone's aggressive marketing, the camera is not the best in the market. There are other phones by different companies that I am not allowed to name that can do the same things this phone's camera can do but better. The 100x zoom is also unsurprisingly mostly useless, and it is usually made worse by processing, leaving the image looking less like a photo and more like an oil painting, hence the 'space zoom' is not really a feature. But that is not the biggest problem.

Great price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price I can't complain. It's not the newest edition of the galaxy but definitely an upgrade from the last phone I had. The screen shot buttons are harder to use & for some reason I can't use the side button to power on & off. I think it may be user error. I do like the camera & definition in pictures. The 5gs great when I'm in a 5g area. I'm not super electronic savvy but so far it's been a good phone for me.

Solid Samsung
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, I find this to be a good phone. I'm not giving it 5 stars as the newer Samsungs have dropped some things that I found extremely useful on older phone. This may not be an issue for some. I particularly don't like the loss of the earphone jack, the oximeter within Samsung Health and the setup of the Memo feature. As usual, there is an overabundance of loaded apps and material that I don't want and can't get rid of, but that's just something to have to deal with. All in all, the phone works well, is clear in sound and so far has been working well. The camera works well, although I haven't yet tried it in different lights, so hopefully it will continue to be satisfactory. My greatest concern is the number of people who have indicated that the phone is very fragile, so I am hoping that I can be careful enough and that with the screen and case I can keep it whole!

Not bad for the price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good size, pretty good value for the money. Bought this to replace an older Samsung for my dad. Interface is not as intuitive as I would expect. Some functions are more complicated than they really need to be. Quite a bit of bloatware, but at least you can remove/disable most of it.

Better value than most S21 models
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding phone; plenty of features and speed. Runs graphics-intensive mobile games with no issues at high resolution. Very good camera, but not quite up to par with more recent phones; still takes excellent pictures in normal lighting conditions, plus the "night mode" works quite well. Highly recommended.

Is a phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely faster then my previous phone, samsung s8+, however some of the apps seem to take longer to load, but that could be a number of things. Kind of wish it had a headphone port. Nice screen too.

Near flagship feel for mid range price
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this phone as a tester for someone who was not sure if they wanted to switch from Apple to Android. They were convinced and made the switch and stuck with this device. Having used it often this phone has a lot of flagship qualities at a reduced cost, plastic back which still felt nice, lower ram which is not too noticeable unless you are gaming or constantly changing apps and leaving a ton running, the 120 hertz refresh rate on the phone is very nice. Not many phones at this price point with that high of refresh rate. Definitely feels higher priced that it is.

Great so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. Went from an S6 to this S20 FE 5G 128GB. I live near a spot where I normally dropped a call, but not with this new phone. Battery lasts for 3 days for me, but I'm not on it all day, just keep it on. Still learning all the features and settings. Had a hard time finding a good case for it due to the phone just coming out. Love it so far....

Very Good Samsung se20 FE 5G smartphone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As was discussed with my sales rep, the Samsung s20 FE 5G is light years ahead of my previous phone. This phone will most definitely get me into the 3 decade of the 21st century. I am still learning the basic features. From my perspective, again as I imagined, I have a lot of features to learn. It has taken some awesome beach pictures while I was on the Florida Emerald Coast. The sound in cellphone conversations have been very clear. Texting, no problems there either. I would have no problems recommending this smartphone to friends and family.

Nice phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the phone and there is nothing to complain much on the hardware. My issues are that Samsung is trying so hard to make you use their own services rather than the other options. I would have preferred the way Sony implements Android which is les restrictive and more vanilla. I will probably get used to it eventually, but for now, it annoys me here and there. But overall, it is still a very good phone.

Samsung S20 FE owner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this a few weeks ago. Great up grade from my LG G6. Great camera and it does so much. Screen is bright and easy to read even in direct sun light. Sound is good but there is no jack for audio. So Bluetooth only on sound. Using my Jlab epic i have great reception and clear calls. Comes with a 15watt block and usb to usb-c cable.

Good product, Bad process
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The salesperson gave one piece of bad information regarding the phone but it wouldn't have changed my mind about buying it. The shipping process was very quick for an item that is in high demand. The activiation process through Best Buy was painful. When I received the phone, there was a new sim card taped to the outside. When I opened the box, there was another new sim card inside the box. This caused concern for what I would encounter when I called to activate the phone. Guess what happened when I called, they couldn't get the sim card taped to the outside of the box to activate. After a 30 minute call then a transfer and 10 more minutes I was hung up on, with no call back. I ended up putting the sim card from my previous phone in and voila! It worked! That process is on Best Buy and not the phone, but is something to consider if you're purchasing this product through Best Buy

Galaxy S20 5G
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good (after 2-3 weeks). I'm particularly enjoying how much better the camera is. For example, it handles the glare of the moon just fine, as compared to the camera on my old Galaxy. Not satisfied that I couldn't transfer all my old files, as they were important.

Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am able to find things on the phone somewhat quickly. I have not been able to access my Visual Voicemail. Spent over an hour at AT&T yesterday and it's still not resolved. I wish it had come with paper instructions for handy reference instructions.

Great phone for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good phone. Faster than my previous samsung galaxy S9. The wifi calling helps a lot, since the ATT coverage in our area is bad. The only drawback so far has been, the phone sometimes freezes.
