I've used Galaxy Notes for a very long time (and yes, I do use the SPen -- after all, arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to use finger swipes, so I use the S-Pen to do what my hands can not do). Now here's the good part -- Camera is clear, provides good details in the tightest and darkest spots (like for example, reading serial numbers under the chassis of one's lawn tractor), and it is fast indeed in taking those photos. (NOTE -- these are not the quality I expect of a Digital SLR using RAW mode, but then again, these photos I take with the Smartphone are NOT intended to be works of art). I've got to say, although the processing speed is adequate, it seems to me I got faster response times on utility apps with the old NOTE phone (which was quite a few years old already). I'll say this about Best Buy and its Samsung Reps -- they made sure that my rather lengthy sharing of apps and files was finished by the time I left the store with the new phone. (yes, it was some time indeed). The thing is, there's some apps that are kind of necessary (like for example, control apps for my hearing aids)), and that means I sat there additional time and made sure that they were working BEFORE I left the store. Now for the bad -- I find it abominable in that Samsung went to the same LIMITS of the apple models -- ie: WHY DID THEY DELETE That EXPANSION SLOT capability? I relied on that extra MicroSD Card slot for my personal files (like Recipes, Shopping Lists, etc), and for such as when I travel or go to medical appointments (if you travel and have encounters with TSA you know why one would have their Medical Info encrypted on an Expansion MicroSD Card and NOT on the main storage memory of the phone itself.) All in all, decent enough overall (EXCEPT for the irritation of Samsung discontinuing the Expansion Slot and some Utilities I actually USED extensively) .. and that has me a bit more comfortable overall with this choice. Plus, it does actually get wirelessly charged in automobiles that have Wireless Chargers built in (yes, I have tried that too - the phone did NOT get hot during this charge cycle either). and yes, I want the apps to all equally respond (some utilities lag significantly - another irritation).

This phone is amazing. The camera is first class, with a zoom feature that is like no other. The battery lasts all day.
