The Galaxy S7 Active materials said it could be dropped from five feet and not break--that was important to me since two people I know had cracked S7 Edges in under a month. I accidentally knocked my phone off the kitchen counter just recently and seeing it fall it slow motion, I held my breath...but not a scratch! For functionaliy, I discovered and installed lock screen and launcher apps from Microsoft, which restored a certain order to my information that I had lost in giving up on a Windows phone (for lack of apps). Now I have almost what I gave up (still miss the active tiles on the Windows phone) plus more apps than I could have imagined.

I chose this phone for my work line. It is excellent for anyone who need a phone in the field, rugged, clear sound, and full of features. It does replace your laptop in the field.

choose these phones because of their heavy duty construction. We had a 5 and my son put in through the paces. He managed to get the old one wet at least 3 times. The last time it spent 7 days drying out and I had declared it dead but low and behold it lived on. Amazing what this phone will take and keep on going. So replacing it with another was easy. So easy I bought 2 and the second was for a beginner who has never used a smart phone, he picked it up easy and now is addicted to his phone like the rest of the family. The only drawback is BB does not carry and accessories in store for the active phones.

This phone is great!!!! The battery lasts 2 full days with no charging. The removable SD card is perfect too!!

Decent battery life and easy to use. The phone feels like it is solid and could survive some rough use. This was my replacement choice after the Note 7 and I am not disappointed.

Great graphics, awesome camera, easy to use. I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S5, and I love this phone. Glad to have a phone that's more durable than normal.

This phone has great picture definition and is very sturdy. You don't need to buy a case for it. The only downfall is that it doesn't work the Gear VR

Upgraded from a Samsung S5. I like the features of being water resistant so far love the phone. It's fast and has plenty of room for my downloads.

This phone is the sturdiest I have ever had. The built in case and water resistance will likely come in very handy if/when I take it to SCUBA sites.

I was looking for a phone to update my old Galaxy S4 active which I enjoyed very much but was unhappy with the old Battery Technology. I was finding that I had to shut my phone off during the day to save my battery power and only turn it on when I needed to use it. Having a phone that could keep its battery power throughout the day was very important for me. The Galaxy S7 active has the most powerful battery of all phones I looked at. I find now that my battery will stay charged two and sometimes three days. Great phone. I give it 5 stars.

it is a rugged version of the well known galaxy s7 without the edge and with a killer battery. I would recommend to anyone who cares about durability.

Just the built in case has to make you check this phone out. Now check outg the strong screen and powerful battery and you have a great phone.

Upgraded to the Samsung galaxy 7 active when my active 5 ran out of memory, love the durability and speed but kept my buttons, perfect!
