Great phone for brother to have and not t o damage easy

i bought this phone for its ruggedness but i also couldnt buy a note 7

I got this phone as a replacement for the note 7. At first wasn't happy with the situation and didn't care a whole for this phone. Now I have had the phone for over a month now and it's a good phone. I like the rugged case, and it doesn't have the edge on it which I didn't like on the note 7 I had. I am overall really satisfied with this purchase.

This phone is a great photo phone, I am very happy with it.

I just got the Samsung Active 7 and was told I could preorder the next one but I don't want to get the new one because that's how you get exploding phones. That being said I have been having issues with the phone and when I ha e it checked out "It's fine" but I can pre-order the next phone up. It worked great until the recent update and now that it's closer to the S8 coming out this phone has been acting up and there's "nothing wrong" with it but it won't connect to Wi-Fi or accept pictures from other cell phones. Thereby making me use my phone data even though my other items connected to my Wi-Fi work perfectly. I got this because I am rough on phones and I like it's not as bulky as other phones with cases. So far other than being connected to Wi-Fi and it not working and the not loading pictures it's been a pretty good phone. It's really hard to navigate it when the "upgrade" makes it hard to find what I'm looking for.

Easy to use and takes great pictures. Long battery life.

Everything seems to work as well as I expected. I couldn't give a "5" because I really miss the hands free option. This was a great option for someone on the go. I think it is better than the Drive option. I won't use that option. Also could be better on the write to text function. That function is off the mark more than it is on.
