I tried this as an iPhone alternative, but after a week of use, it still felt too big in my hands, and flaked out a few times, which didn't leave me with a lot of faith in the operating system's stability. It's fun to be able to customize your phone to no end, the edge feature was intersting, but not essential, and the screen was outstanding. But I felt I valued reliability over these other features, so I went back to the iPhone.

batter is not as good as promised which is huge in my book but the rest of the phone is great. Camera is awesome and screen looks great

The S7 Edge is a great phone. Went back to Samsung after having an LG. Prefer the Samsung.

I've been a Samsung Galaxy phone fan for many years and the S7 is by far my favorite to date.

My daughter and I both got this phone....very nice, good sound quality and long battery life

This is a nice phone, it works just like my Samsung S5 I'm a little concerned about the edges with the edge but I think it will be ok.

This Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge is Awesome. The hand held with is perfect. The processor is fast.

I got this to replace my Note 7 so far I really like it. The picture quality is excellent.

While tech review site after tech review site tripped over themselves to see who could come up with the most superlative adjective when describing the S7 Edge, they only talked about the features as given. For example, yes, it has LED notification but unlike the S3 (from which I upgraded), apps like Lightflow do not work well because of a design flaw in the LEDs themselves that limits which colors it actual uses. The S3's LED notification was able to use the full color range. The "edge" features are a nice try to distinguish their design, but I turned it off after a few days because they really aren't useful (or add more use than what you get with shortcuts or widgets). While Google Assistant worked from a locked screen for a while, after a Samsung update it stopped. I eventually heard back from Samsung that it is no longer supported from a lock screen after that update (intentionally. So much for hands-free use. Makes a difference when you are across a room and want to look something up or ask your phone to start a particular app (I didn't think I would ever use that feature but it quickly became my primary way of interacting with my phone). Having said that, the hardware itself is as nice as most of the reviews claims. The problem is Samsung itself. The features they enable/disable severely limit this phone. That is, Samsung is selling us the phone THEY want us to buy rather than the phone WE the users want to buy. For the expense of such a phone vs the usability, I think the older S6 or even S5 is a better option.

I was excited when Samsung came out with the phone in this color it is even prettier in person. After purchasing the edge I feel I don't use the edge features as much as I thought I would. If I did it over I have just purchased the S7, I still gave it 5 stars because there is nothing wrong with the phone it delievers exactly what I expected it to. I just didn't find I used its features as much as I thought.

My wife and I both have one. We love them. Slightly smaller than our S6 which is perfect.

It is the best phone I have ever owned. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a new phone

I love using Samsung since I got hooked with Note 4 now it's EDGE 7 so far I'm loving it.

I got this phone because of the codor. The pink is so pretty. Had the phone for about a month now coming from the note 4. Thought I would be sad I couldn't get the note 7 but this is awesome don't even miss the note at all. Still learning new things about it all the time.
